I think it matters what recording you hear. I played the one posted in the OP and then listened to the one Ellen played on her show. The one on her show clearly says Yanny.

It’s more about the speakers. I’ve heard both from the same recording, the original from Twitter. As I described earlier I even heard Yanny coming from an ear pod in my wife’s ear then brought to my ear with the recording still playing and it shanked to Laurel once I got it in my ear.

I hear green needle every time. My wife can hear brain storm. Even if i try to hear storm i hear needle.

I started out when I clicked this link and heard yanni. It took several clicks to hear laurel. When I went back to the center I still heard laurel. Without intervention I always hear yanni.
