What do you love most about this class?

I think the biggest thing I love is the chemistry all the recruits have, and that they seem to be gelled already together behind a singular purpose. Reminds me of one of those World Series winning teams that maybe isn't as talented as the Yankees, but just has that certain chemistry in the locker rooms that exudes out onto the field.

But, from a more technical standpoint, I love the breadth of coverage of all positions, talent, speed, and putting up a wall around the state. This is the first year I can remember that SEC big boys didn't go in and readily get TN's best to go elsewhere. We locked up 7/9 4* players, and 9 of the top 15 in the state, with a great kicker to boot (kickers never being ranked high enough to be high star players).

Couple items of note:
-great to be the top ranked recruiting school in the East after the year we had. That deserves big kudos! But, man...Bama. SIX 5* recruits, with an almost 4 avg star ranking. That is insane. And we play them every bloody year. (long exhale)
-Anyone notice UK got 10 4* recruits and is in the top 20? Anyone a little concerned? Not necessarily about a loss next year, but about this being a harbinger of things to come? Or, is the general consensus that Stoops can recruit, but they're still going nowhere? And if so, why?

Seattle won the Super Bowl but gosh it sure rains a lot there. We have a great recruiting class period.

the best thing is that they didn't all have about 4 different hats in front of them so they could try to be cool. I hate that crap.

The EE's have me the most impressed. the early work they put in will hopefully pay off.

What i Love is you can go to rivals.com and click on every position and see TN listed as the school for top recruits at EVERY POSITION!!

2014 College Football Kicker: Quick List

Don't know exactly how to phrase this question but what is the disparity between a 5.8 four star and a 6.1 five star. How is this measured? Can it be put into a percentage? Is the measurement subjective? Objective? I will hang up and listen.

Aside from all the legacy players, EE's and big boys in the trenches, I love that we did not lose Hendrix (nor Barnett nor McDowell) and that Adoree did not go to FL, nor anywhere else in the SEC -- :)

Family....these recruits will work hard to make sure they don't let the others down...
I think this is something Butch is building, this is the 1st class to get it started...and VFL will mean something to not just a few,but to all Butch recruits

There's a lot to love, but to take the less traveled path, I'm going to say the ability to find underrated prospects. This is a bit speculative (isn't all of recruiting?), but I'm most impressed by Jones getting guys like Jakob Johnson and Jerome Dews (technically not in this class now,but will be in '15).

The more I read about those guys, the more convinced I've become that Jones may have picked up some guys who have the potential to be really good, but who were flying under-the-radar of most major programs. Probably be awhile before we see how they play, but I love the attitude of both Dews and J. Johnson.

I love the class of the class. This group is not only talented but there was little to no BS drama at signing day.
