You think he can emerge as a reliable star for this team?

We have been seeing some flashes from him being more aggressive under the hoop!

No. Serviceable, yes. But far from being a star.
Agreed, watched in person on Saturday…he come a long way since when he stepped on campus, but he’s got a longgggg way to go. He plays like he’s 6’6. Doesn’t jump, no killer instinct on the court. BHH is the same way, if they could figure out how to almost play a little reckless, they’d be tremendously mo betta.

He can be play a important role in our overall team maximizing it’s potential. He has gotten much more aggressive and confident in his game. He hustles, rebounds and he can block or alter shots. He is becoming a better scorer close to the basket. His game is slowly improving. Barnes has had more than a few big men develop with time. Olivia is also starting to play with more confidence. If we can peak at the right time we could be a tough out ourselves. We have to keep up the confident open look shot. And keep playing that tough D. GBO!!!!

He needs to start shooting a few midrange shots, especially free throw line and in. He's not a bad free throw shooter, but he only shoots if it's a layup or a dunk.

Plavi is a good reliever, good for 10-12 minutes a game. We really need Fulky to regain his earlier identity. BHH can come along slowly, if he's patient

JMO, but I don’t want Uros shooting more as I think we have more skilled options on our team. He’s battling and blocking out for rebounds which is good. He seems to have a strong grasp of what to do and where to be on both ends of the floor which is good. He flails his arms about defending shots too often when he should keep them straight up using his size to his advantage which needs improvement. Free throw percentage needs improvement. He should try to rip the rim down whenever he gets the ball down low and quit the layups. Score or draw fouls. His biggest opportunity for improvement would be to learn receive passes in the pick & roll which would really help KC

Uros I believe percentage wise is the worst free throw shooter on the team I’d rather Uros just stay on the block and collect offensive rebounds and be alert for the pass when KC drives to get an easy dunk

He's a guy that would likely be getting 5-7 minutes a game for most good teams but our posts have all played so poorly he gets 13+ for us. For every good game he plays, he plays 3 or 4 that aren't very good at all.

didnt realize he had put up those numbers at SC
we really need him and a certain freshman (who never plays in the 2nd half) now now
I haven’t seen a lot of dominant post play this year except for a few teams, UK and Kansas come to mind but even those guys are tame compared to others from years past…I think Uros is better than you think and he would give valuable minutes to a lot of good teams

No, unfortunately he's not better than I think. He's a guy who struggles greatly on a team without a post presence, he gets boosted minutes due to the lack of any suitable players there. He's 7'0 tall and doesn't rank in the top 50 in the SEC in rebounds. He doesn't rank in the top 75 in blocked shots. He doesn't rank in the top 90 in points. He has trouble with quite a few fundamental aspects of basketball in general still and he's been playing and practicing for several years at the college level.

Our post struggles are well noted this season and Uros getting so many minutes is a reflection of that. I wouldn't feel safe betting on a given night that he makes more positive plays than negative plays. Though he will occasionally have a game that is good by his standards, like he did vs LSU, he's as likely as not to go out and screw up so bad Barnes benches him for most of the night like he did against Florida the next game.

Haven’t watched Illinois play much this season?
