I'm as disappointed as anyone, but this season is NOT over. How quickly we forget.
We are going to win 8+ games in back to back years for the first time since 15 and 16. And before that it was 06 and 07.
How many of us would have thanked God in January 2021 if I had told you that Heupel would have accomplished what he has 3 years in?
Yeah, there's a lot to correct but we have someone now who will. Josh Heupel is the best damn thing to happen to Tennessee football since David Cutcliffe left as OC after the 07 season by a mile. You could argue he's the best thing to happen since we lifted up the trophy in Tempe, AZ.
I'm going to watch the rest of these games because the older I get, the more I realize time goes more quickly each year. And winning seasons aren't a given in the SEC. I'll be mad when we lose. Cuss when we do dumb stuff. Cheer when we make a play. But I'm going to enjoy watching these last few games and I'm going to enjoy watching Josh Heupel continue to turn this program into something we can be proud of. I suggest everyone else do the same, but it's a free country and each person can do as they see fit.
