What does everyone plan to do now that the season is over?

I'm as disappointed as anyone, but this season is NOT over. How quickly we forget.

We are going to win 8+ games in back to back years for the first time since 15 and 16. And before that it was 06 and 07.

How many of us would have thanked God in January 2021 if I had told you that Heupel would have accomplished what he has 3 years in?

Yeah, there's a lot to correct but we have someone now who will. Josh Heupel is the best damn thing to happen to Tennessee football since David Cutcliffe left as OC after the 07 season by a mile. You could argue he's the best thing to happen since we lifted up the trophy in Tempe, AZ.

I'm going to watch the rest of these games because the older I get, the more I realize time goes more quickly each year. And winning seasons aren't a given in the SEC. I'll be mad when we lose. Cuss when we do dumb stuff. Cheer when we make a play. But I'm going to enjoy watching these last few games and I'm going to enjoy watching Josh Heupel continue to turn this program into something we can be proud of. I suggest everyone else do the same, but it's a free country and each person can do as they see fit.

The season isn’t what I’d hoped, but it’s not out of line for my expectations this year.

This team had potential to be 1-3 games better than the record but we still have a shot at 8-4 plus a decent bowl game.

I doubt we be the dawgs but they play the game for a reason.

I cheered for some really crappy Vol teams. I certainly won’t turn my back on an 8-4/9-3 team.
This is my thinking don’t get your hopes up too much and remember it’s just a ballgame, lot more important things going on in the world to worry about what 18-22 year old kids gonna do..

I’ll be at Neyland next week and the week after that. I love tailgating if the weather is decent. After that, play golf, fish and sometimes I work on the weekends. Still can’t beat a college football season.

Will 8-4 put us in a Florida bowl?
We travel very well and that’s always a consideration for these Bowl committees. I think we see Gator/Taxslayer bowl or possibly Outback. If not those then I think it comes down to Music City or whatever the bowl game is now called over in Charlotte.
