A simple thing I have always wanted would be to refurbish the old bowling alley on Chapman highway. It wont attract any recruits but it will make me happy. :D

How about some fans that stay until the end of the game. Neyland is the worst 4th quarter stadium in the country, regardless of winning or loosing. I have seen this going on since the 1960's and it is quite unique to Tennessee.

I hate that as well. Same with basketball games. What is the point in leaving with 5 minutes left on the clock? You paid to come to the game and you leave with 1/8th of the game remaining. It is pitiful.

In state HS talent.

Having given this a great deal of thought since CLK doesn't seem very interested in recruiting TN this year....

Wouldn't it seem reasonable that TN would have the same proportion of athletic ability as any other demographically comparable state? If so then the talent is there if you can find it and develop it, right?

The problem is that you have to find them and have the patience to develop them for a year or two.

I guess there would be a fairly significantly higher risk of taking guys that never pan out... but shouldn't the athletic ability be there?

UF does not have beaches. Gainesville is hot and humid during the summer, gets cold without snow in the winter. And full of mosquitoes.

I live in Florida, love it and would never live inland. What's the point? If I wanted humidity, bugs, winter and no beach I'd live in Mississippi.

based on Al Gore...nothing!

global Warming will allow Knoxville to be a "coastal" city in the next 10 yrs. Wait it out and the beaches will be there! UF, USEe, FSU, Miami will all be underwater.....Great for UT!
