I have a friend who does social work in Wyoming. Native American women on welfare will purposely have more babies out of wedlock because they know it means the government will send them a larger check.

I can understand the crappy conditions, but more often than not, those crappy conditions started out as brand-new housing projects. When you just give away money, housing, food, etc. the recipients have no incentive to better themselves nor take care of what they have been afforded by taxpayers.

I grew up near Cherokee NC and saw the same thing growing up. Homes would be destroyed by the occupants, condemned by BIA, torn down, and rebuilt by Job Corps... beginning the cycle again. Of course not all were like this but enough were. Conversely, the vehicles which they bought with their "own money" were well kept.

If some of our liberal friends want to see what these social programs ultimately do to people... they should visit Indian Reservations.

This phenomenon is not limited to any single race. The more babies/more money population crosses all of them. Ran into a 21 year old w/f with 5 kids (4 baby daddies) living in Section 8 the other day.. Side note, I was in a project home last winter and literally had trouble breathing because it was in the 80's inside. She was behind on her electric bill and told me it was about 12.00 a month (subsidised). If most people saw where their "charity" went they'd just keep it. There are schools in Sumner County that have over 50 percent free lunch program. WTF do these kids eat during Summer break? Done.
