it would be 10x worse if Hillary was president the past 4 years. unemployment right now is exactly where it was after 4 years of Biden/Obama and the market is way up. I'm not sure where the shambles are? You'll see shambles soon enough though.

Huh? The unemployment rate is almost 3% higher than it was in 2016.

the response should have been to follow the Sweedish model. it was floated and people characterized it as an old people extermination program. i think they tried to walk a middle ground between herd immunity and lockdown. personally, I have yet to see any evidence that Covid is more dangerous than the seasonal flu or pneumonia. the only reason we've gone though any of this nonsense is perception and yet somehow almost all incumbents were re-elected.

Sweden needed to do more to protect the vulnerable at the beginning. That's my main issue with their response

Smart move on his part. With the democrats moving further to the left, their vendetta against him isn't over yet. They'll break standard protocol for a new incoming administration and start investigations against him, again.

Should be an interesting first year. Starting their slide down in approval ratings from day one.

His biggest issue is he allowed someone else to control the narrative when he had the full attention of the country. He allowed someone like Fauci to ignore any economic ramifications and call for ridiculous restrictions. His true failure is allowing the left to take over the response and spread their fear porn.

This thing isn't going away. Acting like there is some magic end is idiotic. Flu still kills tens of thousands and we know all about it

I fully stand behind a 100% reopening of the economy as long as there is a national mask mandate. That seems like it will help with the recovery.
