Some people say we are suppose to Win/Lose games.

Let's break it down easier for the folks that want to see Tennessee win.

So which games should we be watching? I'd like to watch more than 5 more games.

Thanks.

None. Season's over. No need to post in the bball forum anymore, even though we'll really miss all of your great threads.

The win/lose people are crazy. If we have games we should lose then we are not a good team. Great teams should win them all. They don`t always win them but they should. Even if the Vols get in the big dance they will be one and out just like last year when Mercer kicked their butts in the NIT. I know, I know it was only the NIT but any time a team takes the court they should be ready to give 100 percent at all times even if it was just the NIT. If the NIT is no big deal then you should always turn down the invitation.

Who cares anymore. Just think it will be worse next year. After Stokes, Maymom, and Mcrae all are gone. Oh wait we have some 3 star guys coming in to go against Kentucky and Florida 5 star guys. If Martin can not get it done this year with the talent we have he sure not going to next year.

Hubbs is a 5-star. Lol.

I would be surprised if Hubbs returns once he is well. I think he has seen he made a mistake.

If CCM is gone, then Hubbs might very well be as well. This could be an epically bad tema next year no matter who the coach is.

We have to beat NC State and Texas A&M at home. Got to beat the cupcakes like UTEP. If we don't do this, then we don't deserve to go to the tourney

I'll try to answer your question OP, this is all my opinion fwiw...

Games we should win:

Ole Miss
@Vanderbilt
South Carolina
Georgia
@A&M
@Mississippi State
Vanderbilt
@Auburn
Missouri

Games that are "ok" to lose:

@Bama
Florida
@Missouri

May want to reword if you don't want to be roasted by the crazies.
Games we should win: to
Losses that would damage RPI

Games that are "ok" to lose: to
Losses that wouldn't tank our RPI.
Might want to add this too:
of course no losses are acceptable at this point.

I think this is accurate based on the way we were playing that stretch where we beat LSU, Virginia, and I will even throw in the way we played against Kentucky. Based on how we have played in general - A & M, Vandy, and possibly State on the road are toss ups at best - and should be taken out of the should win category imo.

You think Bama is an okay loss? Why?

I guess I will also add Ole Miss and Missouri at home in the toss- up category. After all we lost to A & M at home and barely beat Auburn and Ole Miss and Missouri are better coached than either of those teams.

As Calban said, I maybe should reword that to loss that won't kill us (or our RPI). They're a plus 100 RPI team, and it's on the road. It wouldn't count as a "bad loss" and wouldn't hurt our RPI really.

If we are gonna lose 3 more games, and 2 of them are Florida and Missouri, @ Bama would be the next best loss.

I see your point.

This. Vols have no "okay" games to lose. They're on the bubble. "Okay games to lose" is an apologist excuse to feel better after another blowout loss.

What is this apologist crap? Nobody is ok with how this team is playing. He's simply saying we could lose that game and not tank our RPI.
