What games should we care about?

I am not so sure it was all because of defense that had our guards go 2 for 29 and McRae go 1 for 17. The defense was supposedly packed in the paint so our guards were supposedly open for some good shots, so what goes? Could be that McRae, Richardson, and Barton may possibly be overrated?

I don't know how I get under your skin so much...

You don't get under my skin. Just don't understand the motives behind your posts sometimes since I know you prefer legitimate basketball discussion. :hi:

Was this thread made for "legitimate" basketball discussion?

Some people say we are suppose to Win/Lose games.

Let's break it down easier for the folks that want to see Tennessee win.

So which games should we be watching? I'd like to watch more than 5 more games.

Thanks.

That's sounds pretty disingenuous and passive-aggressive to me.

As Calban said, I maybe should reword that to loss that won't kill us (or our RPI). They're a plus 100 RPI team, and it's on the road. It wouldn't count as a "bad loss" and wouldn't hurt our RPI really.

If we are gonna lose 3 more games, and 2 of them are Florida and Missouri, @ Bama would be the next best loss.
If anyone knows Golden, should call and tell him we need him to lose today. Keep NC St in the 60s.

Some have tried to actually have a discussion, no?

It took 13 posts for an actual response, and I'm not interfering with that. I will call out the BS posters who act like they want to discuss, but really want start a CJ about how much they dislike Martin or how there's no way anything can come from this season when we're only 5 games into the SEC schedule. I don't know why you think I should be serious 100% of the time. I'm not going to put forth the effort to diplomatically entertain a disingenuous topic of discussion, and while the option of me not posting anything exists, I prefer to call people on it (unless that's against the rules, but I see this as a primary function of rhetoric and the interwebs message board). :hi:

I feel the same. Hence my 'Yawn'.

And you don't like disingenuous so you respond disingenuously. Got it.

We've gotten way off topic so I'm going to clean this up. Feel free to email me if you want to continue discussing. :hi:

Anything can happen from here on. They may win some they shouldn't and lose some they should.

Give up and watch the Bachelor...they have a homophobe this year ...more comedic content than the new Michael J Fox vehicle  :stooges:

I'd rather squeeze my balls in a vice than watch any of that reality TV stuff.

So we have to go 12-0 the rest of the way to make the tourney?

Probably 10-2 or 9-3 at worse with at least 1 and probably 2 wins in SEC tourney. We have no signature wins and only a few semi-quality wins (UVA, Xavier and maybe Wake and LSU).

You feel the same, yet you don't understand my motive? You recognized my post as insincere and not pertaining to the discussion. Even though your post was only one word, it essentially shares the same function as mine: "what you're saying is BS, and I know what you're up to."

Now I really am feeling bad for derailing this thread, so here's 1 cent, not even 2: it's still too early to say that one game or another is the kiss of death for this season.

What about @A&M? That seems like a tough game considering the outcome at home.

Let's hope we really were the ones to let them back into the game. We were handling them in the first half, so as long as that wasn't a fluke, I don't think think that game will be too tough.

Good post. :)

How do you personally see the next four games playing out?

This could be way off, but I see Ole Miss as the biggest threat. We can beat them, but I think they come in and give us all they have. Really want to say that if we can beat Ole Miss, the other 3 make it seem feasible to come out 4-0. However, we know that nothing is a given for this team, so nothing would really surprise me besides losing 3-4 of the 4 games.
IMO:
4-0 - 32%
3-1 - 33%
2-2 - 20%
1-3 - 10%
0-4 - 5%

Do you know what you're talking about, or just talking to talk?
