What happened after that missed offsides?

Even if he committed pass interference, they were offsides.

So it's irrelevant. We should have got 5 yards and replayed the down.

The fouls would have offset and replayed the down at the previous mark. Instead we get hit with a fifteen yard penalty and taken out of the redzone. Stupid zebra officials.

Negative. Offsides occurred prior to the play. Therefore we would have received 5 yards and replayed the down

Negative back at you. The play was continued. The only time the play is stopped by defensive offsides is when there is contact before the snap or they draw one of our guys to react. Instead of the entire line staying still, someone other than the center should have reacted to halt play.

Stupid announcers just kept saying those TRICK plays don't work in the middle of the game, I don't care if vern has been announcing for 50 or what ever. I got tired of them bashing TN all day, not getting names of players right, not realizing that play was an offsides and the line was doing what they were coached to do and show discipline.

I rewatched that play several times just now in slow motion, and the refs got it right sadly, and to my surprise...

The Florida player jumped into the neutral zone, but moved back quickly, and then we snapped the ball. When it was snapped he was no longer in the neutral zone.

We either need to snap it quicker, or atleast have them minimally block. The pass interference could only have gone against North or been a nocall, he totally pushed the DB's helmet and sent him flying out of the play. Dude is strong! Just needs more polish. Don't make it that obvious next time

I wasn't at the game, but from my TV; and it's something like 69" it looked as if the FL lineman got back in time, and was not offsides.

But, for Verne, and that other guy to think it was some kind of trick play just shows how much gray matter they've got.
