Grantham would never do anything bush league like that...like tell the opposing team's backup kicker he's gonna choke just before a game-winning FG attempt in OT. :whistling:

How? You said the pictures were taken while Grantham was going off. FTR, I'm not arguing that Grantham isn't a doucher in this situation. Im just tired of hearing the Franklin ball jugglers in Nashville apologizing for him when it's unclear what happened to cause the fight.

It's not unclear what caused it. The UGA players where yelling at the Vandy coaching staff during the game. Franklin was looking for a coach to let him know his player was acting like an idiot. He found Grantham and told him, and then Grantham went off. I'm not completely sticking up for CJF, because he should have just shook Richt's hand. He also probably used some language that he shouldn't have, but the postgame confrontation was not on him.

What is he doing when he's pointing at the UGA player? From the only video angle available we can't tell. One report said that he was yelling something at the UGA player. The only evidence you've put forth to refute this is (1) a series of pictures that were taken after the alleged provoking incident and (2) that we can't see Franklin's face so we don't know anything. I don't understand how you're so confident that Franklin didn't do anything based on that.

I'm assuming reading comprehension isn't one of your strengths. We don't know what Franklin said when he was pointing at the guy, if he said anything. One report said that Franklin was attacking the player. In his statement, Grantham said he was protecting his players. The point was that from the available video, we don't know whether Franklin was calling out the UGA player or not.

Chop blocks are illegal, but Vandy was cut blocking. They did do it a couple of times, which was dirty, but Georgia had their fair share of dirty plays as well.

They're using cut blocks because they can't push them out of the way. It's a cheap tactic period. I'd be pissed too.

Franklin started the trouble hoping to stir the hornets nest and "make a stand to say that his team is not going to get pushed around anymore". Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. I hope he gets he ass kicked the rest of the year.

Franklin is loud because he want's to draw attention to himself. Self promoting type of guy and will take the first better gig available when the time comes. The "we're not going to take crap form anyone ever again" rant in his post game interview was rather Gundy like. He's bucking for a better gig and whatever he can do to make Vandy look better in year one he'll do it. He's a douche and a used car salesman.

Funny to read dore, gator & dawg fans sqawking on VN. The type of blocking vandie used on GA is what put Inky Johnson out against AF a few years ago. It's dirty play.
