Try Airbnb instead of hotels. It's snow bird season right now so hotels will be more expensive and jacked up prices because all the snow birds down. You can normally find Airbnb between $150-$280 per night and sleeps 4-8 depending what you get plus kitchen and washer/dryer, etc... Just an ideal for fans traveling to South Florida.

You will love Doral. I lived in Doral 15 years. Restaurants everywhere and lots of different selections and lots to do and great hangouts in Doral in City Place and also downtown Doral and a huge shopping mall Dolphin mall. Totally safe and no crime at all and if you like golf then hit up Trump resort golf club and play at the blue monster. If your single, eye candy everywhere. Most beautiful women in the country trust me. lol

Everything is expensive here...Hell I went over to Bradenton a few weeks ago for a wedding and spent $200.00 for a night at the worst days inn in history....The photos looked good but man what a dump it was...cound't get the TV to work so I called the front desk and the guy down there said he had nobody to come and fix it right now lol...Turns out it was unplugged from the back of the TV...Got it plugged in and presto....Crap...Got 5 channels and everyone of them sucked...Yeah buyer beware!...Miami has some holes for hotels too so be careful!

Here in Tampa is the same. Tampa has got more expensive or at least the same as South Florida last several years. Started during covid and everybody and their brother moving here. I moved from Doral to Tampa several years ago thinking cheaper to live. Boy was I wrong. I feel your pain! lol

Beware, they do leave the head on the fish though. If you enjoy having a fish stare back at you while you eat it, no worries. But maybe don't order fish if not.

If anyone is staying near the airport, I recommend the Airport Cafe on 36th. It has good food and a fun atmosphere.
