What if chaos Happens. Leach upsets GA

If Hook gets another shot let's hope the Oline shows up and Hook can find his targets. His throws were high all night not allowing any YAC.
This offense is dependent on Hooker having time to set and let the receiver pop open.
I just hope Heupel shows up with some screens, draws, and routes out of the backfield. Letting your QB stand back there like a statue plays right into their hands.

If Tennessee wasn’t able to handle Georgia, Miss State definitely won’t.

This is the SEC, bub, anything can happen. We used to be famous for cannibalizing ourselves out of the BCS, and letting USCw, Michigan, and other undesirables in. And here we are on the verge of doing it again. It's the SEC, anybody has the potential to pull off upsets against anybody else on any given Saturday. USCe did it to Florida and Georgia before. We did it to Georgia (Dobbnail boot), Kentucky did it to us, Georgia did it to Bama, and so on. It's the SEC. Overconfidence, penalties, an exceptional game plan, and even just pure dumb luck can happen. No, I don't think MSU will win, but if they do, welcome to the SEC.

Agreed, but that's not what we've seen most of the year.. Kirby knew that as well

They run nearly the same O we do..............what is going to be different?

They know how UGA will react to it and maybe they take advantage of what they are given or maybe they complete the passes we didn't. It depends on whether you think Leach is good at taking that film and finding ways to execute better against what UGA did.

Ga plays down to the competition, and State could make it a game, but uga wins a likely low scoring game. State's offense has just not impressed much this year. Lsu rolled them back when lsu was struggling.
Ordinarily, but they put a helluva lot of focus and energy on us. Hard to imagine they'll come out with the same intensity. Might be more of a game than some think.
As an aside, on the subject of playing down to the competition, UGA might not be the “new Bama” so much as they’re becoming the SEC’s version of Ohio State.

Hooker was the first QB to stand in the pocket for 5-6 seconds against UGA. That and good coverage by the DBs caused the sacks, not the O line.

Well, yeah...putting us at #1 motivated a sleep-walking UGA. I'm sure Kirby used that all week.

And...THAT...is why the committee did it? (while rubbing their collective hands and cackling, I am sure)

Nah. Its a lot different. For starters they don't use the wide splits. The QB doesn't run as much. They don't do stacked receivers nearly as much. They emphasize short passes more than long. There may be more, but that's quite a bit already.

I almost say it’s impossible but anything is possible when a team plays at home. Will that loss still put them above us ? I think we are all rethinking the mizz game with ga. I think it’s worth a watch. At least in the first quarter :)

Pigs will fly first.

The world will come to its end and we will not be in the playoffs.

Anything is possible, them so focused on beating us, maybe they overlook State. Possible. If they lose a close one, where does the committee rank them.

Honestly, more likely a ole fashioned first half blowout. But maybe their quick throws can keep a Georgia defense honest to not sell out on the blitz so much.

Rogers will get the ball out quickly and it will be more competitive than the Vols did. Georgia is banged up and could have a closer game than expected but the redder dawgs should win.

The interesting thing is that if we were not #5 and not in the discussion for the playoffs - we would all be rooting for both MSU and KY against UGA in hopes of making the SEC championship game.
