What if Dooley wins his Bowl game in brilliant lopsided fashion...

Per Brent Hubbs: The decision has already been made.

Yep...If I had to put it metaphorically it seems that the AD has decided to not even worry about using his last two time outs (by firing Dooley before the last two regular season games) nor even try to get into field goal range with 40 seconds left (by telling Dooley to coach as if his job depended on these last two games) but instead take a knee (let Dooley know that he only has two more games left as Tenn's HC and can use those as resume builders if he wants) and try to win it in overtime (by announcing the firing before the possible bowl game and then bring in Gruden to bring the fans and recruits in).

For the first time in my 33 years of life, i honestly think Vandy is going to beat us like a drum! And that makes me sad. I never imagined it could come to this.

Has anyone entertained the thought that Dooley may be submarining the program to get out of a situation where he know he is in over his head? According to multiple sources, he tried to get bought out last year. Maybe the reason he is making such boneheaded decisions is that he wants out of Knoxville. Just my 2 cents.

Dooley is done here. No chance otherwise. If no annoucement by noon weekly presser tomorrow; then it will be after Vandy (if we lose) or when we have a firm handle on his replacment, but not later than the monday following the KY game.

Hahahahahahahahahah.......a bowl game? a bowl game? You can't be serious. I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose out.

I have never seen such a talented team be soooooooooo poorly coached. It's disgusting to watch.

What bowl game? We just lost to Missouri a 4-5 team with one of the worst offenses in the SEC. They only had 1 other SEC win, Kentucky. Vandy beat them and they are a passing team so they will have a field day against our secondary. We will beat Kentucky, hopefully, but that still has us at 5-7.

What are the chances that UT keeps Dooley?

(obviously assuming UT lets Dooley finish season, and we finish 6-6 and go bowling)

Are you basing all of this off of his stellar record so far?

Lets not get dumb, people.
