What if Louisville is the 14th team

Louisville brings nothing to me...we need to think TV markets.

VT, NCST are much better options IMO.(for the east)

I see Louisville football becoming better in the coming years...but as far as TV markets go, does Louisville / Southern Indiana really give a hoot about Cardinal footbal???...nope, so no gain for the SEC there.

I did hear rumors back last year when Nebraska moved that the Big 10 was seriously looking at louisville...but L'ville wanted to stay put in the Big East for the basketball reasons.

Number of TV's is driving the bus. It seems pretty clear that the SEC wants to expand the footprint with teams 13 and 14. That's why A&M and Missouri make so much sense. I think they would only consider schools like Clemson, Louisville, and GT for teams 15 and 16.

Mizzou really does make sense. More so than any team being mentioned IMO.

I really don't think markets have much to do with this. Just look at where "traditional" SEC. schools are located. I believe the SEC is looking for competitive programs to bring in. If you have the best games on any given Saturday, eyeballs will follow as will networks.

From a pure dollars point of view, absolutely. To bring in the Texas market, and the entire state of Missouri + Kansas City would allow the SEC to go geographical for teams 15 and 16.

That's a pretty romanticized opinion of the SEC. Dollars and TV's are most definetly the reason they are considering all of this.

I read somewhere that the SEC has an unwritten gentleman's agreement to not add another school in a state where they already have a school

I've seen something similar and it's probably true. FSU would hurt Florida a lot more than the other three

Damn. I always suspected that the SEC was trying to screw UT with Vanderbilt. The SEC hates us.

Papa johns is better than any other za delivery chain, but still awful. I guarantee you 95% of all local joints in the country are better. Give yours a shot.

I prefer the pizza at the Orange Martini about 11:30pm after game day. I'm either hammered or they knows what they doing
