I'm not saying that it's likely to happen. We've been hot and cold at times throughout the season, while LSU has pretty much stayed hot. But what if we upset them and they drop below 2nd. Will Bama go to the NC game without winning the conference?!? Kinda shoots a hole in our current system. Bring on playoffs! :clapping:

Thanks! I like to get other's opinions on college football because I love the game. I know some of you are the same. The question was posed as a fan of the sport and nothing else. Just like to talk college football, the best sport of them all.

Georgia is going to be embarrassed.

Looking forward to it. Weren't the best team in the east and played a cup cake ***** schedule. You don't deserve t be in the game, and LSU will show you why Saturday.

You could be right. Might have been a little classier with the delivery, but you are who you are.

Bama is in the Championship game regardless of the outcome of the SEC Championship. Its a flaw of the BCS that they don't account for the number of games played (i.e. Championship games).

I don't think the game will be a blowout but I think LSU wins handily. Folks in Georgia need to realize that if you trade UT's 3 SEC West opponents with your 3 SEC West opponents, you guys end up 7-5.

There is no "could be" about it. I am right. I don't need a crystal ball. You've watched LSU play, right?

Maybe you can call the SEC commissioner and tell them to call the game off. :eek:k: Otherwise I'll still watch it. Maybe they'll have some cool commercials.

You could be right. These schedules are made years in advance and you have to play the schedule that you were dealt. Who else from the East is more deserving in your opinion?

South Carolina.

Why in the hell is Georgia more deserving than South Carolina?

Of course Georgia has to play the schedule that is put before them. You guys just need to temper all this enthusiasm about winning the East and Richt doing such a great job, yadayadayada.

I think S. Carolina is the best team in SEC East but they would also be no match for LSU.

What would really show the BCS for the joke that it is, is if UGA upsets LSU, but LSU only drops to 2nd. Then you have the 2nd and 3rd place teams in the SEC playing for the national title.

Actually this may be more of an indictment of conference championship games than the BCS.

It doesn't even matter what happens in the SECCG. LSU/Bama II is a 99% lock.

I think it would be cool to get 3 SEC teams into BCS games just to hear the other conferences whine

Whoopdeedo.

You asked a question. I answered. They beat every team in the East.

Let's agree to disagree. The game will still be played no matter what our opinions are. And there will be a winner and loser. If I were betting my house, I'd say LSU will win big. But the game will still be played and there have been bigger upsets. Not sayin' it'll happen. Not sayin' UGA is all that. Just sayin' that it'll be played and I'll watch. If UT was in UGA's place, you'd do the same. Best of luck in '12. I'm rooting for UT in every game except against my team.

That's all fine and dandy. Doesn't change the fact that USC beat UGA and every other team in the Eastern division, and UGA is only playing in the championship game thanks to their cupcake schedule.
