What impressed you the most?

I thought Neal had a great game. A few bounces I didn't think were smart but overall a great game.

Overall just super proud of the Vols and the fans yesterday!

It is nice to see the opposing team look like a MASH unit instead of our guys. Don't want to see anyone get injured but it speaks to our conditioning.

I disagree. Yes our Defense was shutting them down. You realize they only scored 14 in the second half with the final TD coming in the last few seconds, right? Also , a turnover on downs at that point and UGA is already in FG range. Once we got them out of FG range im good with the call.

Check Murrays stats and tell me how he was playing "lights out".

Stats don't tell the whole story. Murray put the team on his back when virtually every offensive weapon he had went down before halftime. I liked Butch's call, we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I haven't mentioned this yet but it strikes me as noteworthy: The two 3rd down timing route throws to Croom for 1st down. These were huge and were the kind of throws we have been missing thus far.

Jones made some calls in the second half that put his team in a spot to win or get blown out. The team responded to that.

Worley growing up, the team never quitting and rajions running. Football is a game of inches and it was refreshing to see him fight for every inch. I counted atleast 5 plays he could have given up on and turned into positive yardage.

I'm really impressed with the defense and special teams.

Palardy Like A Rock Star!

And of coarse, Worley and his sense of slowing the game down, that had finally arrived.

The TD catch from North was clutch AND amazing! I think it's the start of his move toward being a big time player for UT

The crowd noise was very impressive no doubt, yesterday ESPN tweeted...

Knoxville, Tennessee is the loudest place on earth right now.

Awesome

Worley will play with more confidence now since he was not the reason we lost the game yesterday. This is the best he felt after a game. Ever.

plus he will start to be able to let the ball go sooner as everyone knows the system a little better and the qb can trust where the young wr's are going to be and throw it before they make their breaks. He's had to make sure they made them, then throw.

Just one big play can change the outcome of the game, we had some oportunities and came up short again. Murray's run may have been the difference for Georgia, he's a winner....gotta give him credit

I just wish we had a QB that could make a big run every now and then

Was disappointed when the dawgs let the Vols have that last score so they would have enough time on the clock to score themselves. Neal should've kneeled down on the 1 yard line and let the clock run.

they didn't let us score and a kneel down wouldn've have run out the clock. Ga would've gotten the ball back with @ 55 seconds left and only needing to go 35 yards to get in fg range.

:rock2:

It was pretty loud. Bajakian said he and Worley couldn't hear each other when they were talking while we were on defense. Had to go get worley a headset so they could communicate

1. Worley stepped up and played like an average SEC QB

2. Special teams were outstanding to say the least.

3. Our secondary was all over their WR's. Most of Murrays completions had to be perfectly thrown balls.

4. Never give up attitude was nice to see.

Less impressed by :

1. Neal. He made several good runs (some only for a yard) but almost looks like hes running with his eyes closed sometimes. The 4th and 1 play that he broke for 50 yds left me scratching my head trying to figure out how he let the one guy in the wide open field make the play. Still an overall slightly better than average night for Neal IMO.

I was most impressed by some of the clutch throws Worley made. He makes a couple NFL throws every game, just has to keep progressing.

As for Neal. That was the 5th best individual rushing performance against Georgia since 1950 (for a UT RB). Honestly, if you look at the statbook, it's one of the best individual games against a top-tier SEC team in the last decade. I think that makes it better than how you describe it.

Georgia only had 1 timeout. Running another play or two to get into the endzone would have seriously run the clock down. What good would it do Georgia to get in field goal range when they would've been down a touchdown? Have you started drinking already?

:dance2:I missed almost all of the first three quarters except for the Murray 57 yard run. I will say that I am proud of the effort that Tennessee gave in the 4th qtr and subsequent OT. If someone before had told me that Worley would've passed for more yards than Murray I would've accused that person of hitting the sauce too early. I thought that Neal would run for 150 yards and he came close (148). He ran with a purpose that I had not seen from him his entire Tennessee career to date. I thought that UT's corners played yet another good game. This unit will be a force next season. Palardy is quietly making a seat for himself in the Tennessee Pantheon of punters next to the Colquitts and David Leaverton. He is finally living up to the buzz which surrounded him in his senior year of HS. CBJ called some ballsy plays especially on 4th down and I commend him for his aggressiveness. I'm not for moral victories but considering how most on this site were calling for a blowout of Tennessee prior to kickoff, I would consider this a well played and well-coached game by the Vols.

Justin King on the sideline was a hell of a cheerleader. No joke. Dude was awesome!

On that note, LOVED how rowdy the team got on the sideline when we were on D. They were getting crazy! Awesome energy

^ THIS!!! The entire game!!
