To get that key win. I mean the crowd was deafening, we had breaks go our way, and all the players have 120% so what else is it going to take? Go Vols!!

It will take a few more key players. I know "be patient" is a tired statement, but it should be obvious to anyone now that Butch can coach and he's got guts......so, be patient.

This is exactly what it will take. We are getting better and better each week.

We just need a few more players, it's not going to be a quick fix.

I think we get South Carolina in two weeks, it will feel like a big win at the time, but I also have them losing to Florida, Clemson, and Missouri as well.

:ermm::ermm: Clemson is a good team. Florida isn't the same but they are still good. Not going to argue with you over Missouri but they just spanked Franklins whinny @$$.

A win over south Carolina will still be huge.

USCeast will be that win and the team will have confidence the rest of the season. We will play Bama tough and. Who knows. Yesterday showed me a lot. Excited for the USC game. We get to rest some injurues and Butch gets 2 weeks to prepare. Plus USC is having internal team issues. I smell a win. Needto wer the grey more.

Nobody is as jacked up about our effort last night as me, but lets tap the brakes just a little. The rest of the schedule is still daunting. And, UGA was missing alot of key offensive players for much of the game. If they had Marshall and their top two WRs that were hurt early in the game, it wouldm't have come down to OT imo. That said, the effort and never give up attitude are what I'm most pleased with.

It will take a little better first half. I now think the Vols will come into each game with a different attitude. They now know and believe they can compete. This 2nd half should be a springboard to a good second half of the season.

we were missing some key players too:
Lane
Maggitt
Couch
Saulsberry
Young
Jones and Williams---don't forget we are playing two walk-ons in their places (and I love Toney but he seems to be the one they are picking on now)

An unsportsmanlike on Georgia's last drive in regulation, a pass interference call on Georgia's last drive in regulation, and a fumble resulting in a touchback/turnover on our overtime possession. Not all the breaks went our way.

It was definitely great hearing Neyland being Thunderdome again.
