DE will be the best class I have ever seen at TN. We are still in it for Lemonier but we are also in it to steal Stripling from UGA. We already in Miller and Jacquez have a stud DE class.

We should finish top 5, but it will be hard to beat Texas and Alabama nationally with a 7-5 season. The only team with a record like ours who will be within 10 classes of ours rankings wise should be Auburn, with FSU having a good class as well.

I thought we would finish number 1, but a top 5 finish should not be disappointing. Even our lowest rated players like Fulton and Milton have the potential to be very special.

great post MHF. a top 5 finish with our record speaks for itself, regarding our staff's recruiting ability.

we also have the best kicker in the country coming in( even though he is rated 2). that might not boost the ratings alot, but will be NECESSARY if we are to truly make a NC run in 11'.

How many recruits did we end up with that we weren't even in on the picture at this time last year? This staff is a whole lot more secretive about who we are pursuing and where we stand on a lot of prospects, IE disabling the tracking on the plane. I expect more surprises this year to be honest than last year. I expect us to hit the phones with some prospects and coaches to fill the RB position if CLK doesn't already have someone lined up which I think he does. We just need to worry about the Bowl game and quit thinking the end is near with recruiting with this staff it isn't possible to nab a terrible recruiting class.

I would be happy with a top 5 class but I think we can have a top 3 if we get can turn Luc but I doubt that happens

I have some big expectations. I expect UT to bring in the top player at every position with a bunch of 5 stars to fill in the rest of the class. Futhermore, I expect Kiffin/Orgeron to convince all Bama commits to go elsewhere.

I guess what bothers me is the guys that are still high on our board could go else where. Christian Jones fsu and riley and wright more than likely going to usc, corey nelson w texas and Ahmad Dixon to stay in state. Christian Jones is my number one guy right now we need to get at least one great linebacker in this class not saying that michael taylor wont be it..but christian jones would be huge.

I expect this staff to bring in players that are going to work hard everyday in that orange uniform. Players that have the talent, but I don't care how many stars they have on Rivals or Scout. Players that are willing to spend extra time lifting and watching film to better themselves and to be better prepared for all the games. Let's go Lane, Kippy, Ed, Monte, Lance. Do Work :rock:

cullen, green, and wilson would be great. 2 out of 3 and im still happy.

hope we land c. jones... seems at this point to be a toss up with us and fsu.

we finish top 5 in the nation regardless of all these factors because i guarantee 1 to a few recruits, that nobody saw coming, signing with the Vols in feb.

nobody comes in totally "unforseen" on this board. i wonder if Seastrunk could be a NSD suprise.
