What is up with all the crazy Trump supporters?

so preemptive assault....seems smart. At what point were people like you given to the green light to accost people? You harass people then say you feel threatened as an excuse to shoot someone.

I wouldn't have handled things in the manner of the couple in question but your post does seem to ignore that the people in question were standing on their own property. It's a distinction that shouldn't be bypassed.

What’s preemptive if you’re on your property and people are trespassing? And no that’s not advocating for shooting someone.
Funny how you guys questioning my views on this keep glossing over the original point of why people might buy more guns. It was actually an observation, and one that makes sense given the climate of the nation and all the talk of defunding the police and what not.

Same as the people who want to place significant impediments on a person's right to vote. How can you people claim that nothing can be done to touch the 2A, but restrictions on someone's constitutional right to vote are fine? You have to recognize the inconsistency there.
What do you consider an impediment?

Nobody trespassed on THEIR property. They were just some scared butches.

Since the left is purchasing more guns, who do you think they are trying to protect themselves against BLM, ANTIFA, the COPS, an oppressive government , or Trump supporters? Where does their fear come from?

Did you ask your friends?

Are they real or imaginary?

Probably for the same reasons basically anyone is. I didn’t discern that the people buying firearms were right or left, just people who have concerns about the well being of themselves and those they care about. Those dipshits destroying property don’t really care either. They’re either opportunists or anarchists, but some of your folks sure thought they were on their side .

I think you already conceded the couple probably overreacted and I will concede the people destroying stuff are either opportunists or anarchists. I do hate that those people hurt the movement.

I’ll say that if I were in their loafers that night I would not have been wielding an AR-14 😉 at the crowd. But if I did own those weapons I would’ve made sure that they were in a pretty close proximity to me, given the uncertainty of the situation and also looking back on this, people weren’t thinking rationally at all. On all sides. Luckily no one was hurt, shot, nothing was burned, pillaged etc. Maybe I should not have used that as an example because it took away from the point I was making, but it does feel like right now there is always another shoe that could drop and things would get out of control again. Hell that one guy killed himself in Minneapolis a few weeks ago and they looted a bunch of stuff then just because.

What restrictions on voting have been put in place? The right to vote has the potential to be 100x more dangerous than a person owning a gun so isn't it sensible to ensure the person casting a vote is the actual person qualified to vote?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

How about we place the same restrictions on voting as we do for the purchase of a firearm?
