What is your biggest concern regarding Palin?

Educate me BPV. Do you have a title of this book by Lublum? I'd be intrigued to read it.

It's actually the real Jason Bourne. The Bourne that Damon plays is a weak facsimile of the guy that Ludlum wrote about.

not to veer too far OT, but the movies weren't all that bad. I don't think the big screen could have effectively portrayed the psychological turmoil in David Webb's head. I'm also not sure how effective they'd have been if the books' timeline had been preserved, including the battle of wills between Bourne and Carlos the Jackal.

It does suck that the movies killed off Marie and Alex Conklin and introduced too many characters Ludlum never had in the books.

the lack of Carlos the Jackal was a problem. As was the skipped training that he always reverted to. As was the complete exclusion of the "chameleon." No reference to nam. Too much was missing from the skill set that Bourne had.

Remember the book scene where he and an assassin moved around noiselessly in the dark for hours before one killed the other and how he kept remembering back to his training for it. That was awesome.

Honestly, are none of you concerned about McCain passing away in his sleep and leaving this woman as President??

Honestly, you don't see how that scenario is 1,985,578,465,187,125 times better than Obama ever being elected?

I mean I could see some benefits to Palin being President. Anyone who supports whorish teenage girls such as her daughter might steal my vote. Other than that, no. :whistling:

Well, at least you aren't feeding that whole "classless Dems" stereotype.

But you are just proving to be another example of a D scared sh*tless of McCain's pick.

she's Obama in a female body with conservative ideals and more experience. I might not choose her from the crowd of potentials, but if Obama were the only other option, I would never think twice about it.
