What is your Vol Streak?

Haven’t been to a game in about 25 years. Took my kids when they were in early teens and they are in late 30s now. May have to take my grandsons before I die to offset the influence of their other grands. Nine and seven year olds are influenced by their Memphis loving grands and the 5 year old is a UGA fan because his other grandma grew up in Ga. and is a fan even though his other grandpa is a Gump.

I haven’t missed a Tennessee football game since 1989. I started watching them in 1986. But since 1989 I haven’t missed a single Tennessee football game. Don’t die when Tennessee plays cause I won’t be at the funeral.
That's amazing! Unfortunately, I live 2,200 miles away

Others will (have) beat this handily because I have seen posts and have read newspaper articles. My longest streak was 1967-1992, 25 years without missing a home game. During that period, I lived in TN, KY, SC, VA, and IL. Since moving back to TN from TX in 2010, my current streak is 12 years including the gosh awful COVID year and even worse 2017. While in Fort Worth, Texas, I rotated two games each year, one each selected by my daughter and son. I am happy to say both are UT grads married to UT grads.

Tell your aunt and uncle to get off their asses and get to work.
Ironically they hated going to away games in bama and then they invited me in 97 when someone backed out. I became their good luck charm. Haven’t been back to Tuscaloser (or legion field thankfully) for a UT game since 03

I sat with my neighbors in 95. They were alumni. They never invited me back. Not sure why lol

My most recent Vols streak lives in a pair of underwear I was wearing during the Bama game. . .

I don't think I've missed watching a game since 1993 or so. . . except for blackouts, but I still listened.

I’ve never seen the Vols lose on the road vs Bama

95, 97, 99, 01, 03

My aunt and uncle retired and quit buying season tickets so I stopped going.

I am considering going this season but don’t want to sit with the Bammers.
We should all buy this guy a first-class, round-trip, all-expenses paid vacation to the Bama game this year.

I have video of every game since 1980. Some video is coaches shows or coaches tape of games but some video of every game. Vast majority are the entire games. probably over 90% entire game.

Just lacking 3 games from 1979 season for having that entire season.

I have a t-shirt that I have carried - not worn - to every game since '85. Pic of Smokey on front, V O L S on the back. When we could walk the RR tracks, I dropped it once and went back on Sunday morning to find it- right where I dropped it.

Missed only one home game since then too. That was the day my son had a PeeWee championship game.

Off topic - I have had at least a sip of Coca-Cola every day since I was in Jr High ~ 1972.
