In the next couple years? I'm not talking like, all of Tennessee, just places right in UT's backyard.

Taharin Tyson is probably the biggest one I'm thinking of. He's already a pretty huge kid for a sophomore, and he's doing really well as a sophomore at Alcoa. Averaged like 9 yards a carry

Hmm, I'd say there are a few. QB from Powell(Kier Houston, I think), Thomas Shuler(RB from Maryville), and that Toney kid from Alcoa. Chase Phillips(OL from South-Doyle), and there's a really good kicker from Webb School(can't think of his name)

Those are the names off of the top of my head.

Don't leave out the kid from Ootewah High School. Jaques Smith, Scout.com has him as a 5 star

Chris Sensabaugh...rising junior at Dobyns-Bennett...kingsport, TN

Geralds' (NFL Jags) little brother.. Has a brother at Clemson to I think. TennCock, what's up with that big WR at DB? Transfer from JC I think... I should know this stuff being from Kport, but I just haven't followed it like I used to...

Sensabaugh is a bull. He had some injury problems this year. But I think he would be someone worth a look.

Gearld Sensabaugh is his cousin. Coty Sensabaugh , who went to Clemson, is also his cousin. There have been alot of Sensabaugh's who came through DB. Very athletic family. I do know Gearld's Dad. He was a heck of a player himself at DB and a great guy.

the WR from JC is Alshon Adams...good and tall and good athlete but needs to bulk up to play WR at the div I level. Now take what I say next with a grain of salt but the one thing about Sensabaugh may be his age and ability to qualify. I know that he has been held back in school on more than one occasion...he put up sick numbers last year as a "freshman" but he was already 15 almost 16. I realize that East TN does not put out much div 1 talent, but when they do it is mainly ignored by UT so that could hurt Kiffin...I would bet that Sensabaugh will be high 3 star low 4 star when rated mainly b/c of where he is from. I love to see local guys make to division I so I would love to see UT go after him...

Also, not that this matters, but Coty Sensabaugh orginally commited to Appy St but due to a last minute cancellation at Clemson his spot opened up so he was really not div I material until the last second. Finally, Gerald Sensabaugh went to ETSU until the program folded at which time he transferred to UNC and is now a successful player for Jags

darien stone. i think that's how you spell it. He goes to Clinton. He is the QB and has a good arm but he is a duel threat. I think he would be listed as an athlete or DB. i saw him play and he is gifted.

the BEST player regardless of class in his immediate backyard is Devrin Young. He is the best player in East Tennessee on the offensive side of the ball....most electrifying player in the state..IMO and already viewed as one of the nation's best soph's as by his addition to the max preps soph all american team. He was also named KIL soph of year this past week...in adddition to 1st team all prep extra and KIL....he is 1st team all region on offense and defense and 1st team all state coaches and writer's....this is the premier talent in his backyard....and he has gotten a boatload of press....the best player to come out of Knoxville since Leroy Thompson..and his recruting will be reflective of that

What about Zac Tait and the Cozart kid from Catholic? Zac Tait-6'5 and 300 lbs sounds like a good o-line prospect.

bass you know its true...regardless of how you feel...I'm not the only one saying it...now I may have been the 1st to say it...but I'm not the only one....did you see the max preps all american team?

That is a national publication......you can whatever about us knowing each other or being close..but you cant take away what he has done on the field...
Maxpreps Articles - South Carolina's Worley Earns Top Sophomore Honors

I'm not saying he's not good - I'm saying here we go again that you're here again acting as his publicist.

And no way he's 5'8 like that one site lists. The guy is tiny in both height/weight.

dorian is a solid player he is a top 25 prospect instate. I have him ranked at 15...but with some guys like Avery Willaimson moving up...Dorian may slide down some on the list....20-21...Zac is a top 10 kid....and I have him in my top ten. He will be a fixture in the top 2010 and is a tremendous prospect at guard. He should be fully recovered from injury and I expect a big season....

bruno...when was the last time you saw him? so how do you know his actual size....thing is Bass that I promote him is because knoxville hasnt had a player of his caliber in a very long time....you should be talking about him just as much as I am ..because he is the home team..instead...you try and find faults...ie...his size....instead of supporting and embracing the tennessee kids who make it big....we have 3 kids from tn on a nation list of sophs very early...when was the last time that was the case...instead of worrying about who gets pumped up..you should jump on the bandwagon and embrace it...instead of finding fault in someone bringing a SUPERSTAR to everybody's attention...I just dont understand your hate of my promotion of one of the best talents knoxville will ever see..

I don't hate it - I just find it funny - because its not going to make a difference posting it on Volnation. And you can't argue the kids size.

yes it does....it has your feathers ruffled....it is bringing attention to him for people who are not aware of him.......this is a recruting board...he is a legit D-1 recruit...what else should we talk about?

you dont have to read it...if you dont think its attention worth....
