Per "Saturday Down South": Will Muschamp is guaranteed a $13 million buyout from South Carolina, whether he accepts another job in the meantime or not. That is a sweeter deal than Tennessee has ever paid to a fired football coach... by far.

Yes, you are correct. WM didn’t work out, but he left enough talent for JM to win 10 games his first season with a SECCG appearance. JM recruited well enough for Mullen to win 10 games in 2018. Even UF’s bad hires have success or don’t leave a complete rebuild for the next coach.
