I was born in alcoa and grew up in blount county before joining the military for 22 years. still have family there but now live in alabama since 1993. They are totally confident and I have to listen every day how they are gonna beat us by 4 or more touchdowns. Where I work its about 50/50 auburn/alabama and there is no comparison to the two fanbases as far as class go. All I can say, my first 8 years here were great, but as always, it great to be a Tennessee VOL !!!!!

I'm not saying we dominate either, but IF it happened, how would it be perceived?

I will be honest, have not been able to watch much of Bama or UT this year. So I have to ask, Bama fans is there any concern you can drop this game? I know Bama is good year in and year out. Just do not know much about this years team.

And this is your first several responses.

I don't think they are that good, the last two games they had were at home and I think they played off emotion and the crowd, we will see if they can play on the road..

This will be a statement game from Alabama.

It is a rivalry game and Tennessee is improving BUT I will be buying a cigar before the game and I will be smoking it after.

To answer the OP's question, I don't think many Bama fans if any are worried about UT this weekend.

I hope Butch and team117 gives the red team something to remember them by. It's as it should be but the excitement and "belief" we are feeling about our team has not reverberated down to Tuscaloosa at all.

Hard to find a good message board for them. I think the stars have to align a certain way for someone there to both have Internet and know the alphabet, so message boards are few and far between. Anyways here's what we got:

-As usual, mad respect for our O-line. Most claiming our O-line is the best in conference, even better than their own

-Not a ton of respect for the talent that Neal/Lane possess, but say they have performed far above their talent level.

-I did see a sad thread from a Tennessee fan titled "please take it easy on us guys". Ugh.

-Apparently this was supposed to be funny

-And this actually was funny

-General score predictions have them scoring between 35-40 and us scoring between 3-10

-Saw a lot of "I gotta admit, Butch Jones is a very impressive coach"

-They are a bit freaked out about the loss of Sunseri

-They don't believe we will travel

-"McCarron will have a good day but our running backs are going to have one of their best games of the season against this Tennessee defense!"

-I did see a few saying they are glad we beat SC, that may have saved them from the mistake of overlooking us. Kind of a backhanded compliment , I guess?

-Mostly looking ahead to LSU

Yes but it only had pictures that pop up cause no one knows how to read. The closer to the trunk in Bammer ... the better the dates.
