Thanks I really enjoyed that.

You know If before last season started, you would have told me we had to split the Florida South Carolina games, I would have said let’s beat Florida 10/10 times. Same scenario this year, I think I may have honestly said let’s beat usce and accept the early loss at the swamp. Hindsight is working out great but I still have trouble justifying that loss to Florida this year. Just terrible

So...every fanbase is overreacting to the last 72 hours?

Shocking haha

-(Kentucky) They’re on top of the world. There are some that are seemingly making plans for Atlanta in December. There is zero fear going around for remaining games. A few fans claim that they are going to obliterate Georgia Saturday night and that will swing the season into full gear. Tennessee doesn’t stand a chance according to a few.

Kitty fans will never learn

Mizzou's schedule has been as cupcake as it gets. Can't tell if they're any good or not with that schedule. KY will be physical when we go to Lexington, but we have their number like FLA has ours. Maybe they get us, but I like the "we're in their head" factor. 8-4 to 11-1 is all on the table.

I feel bad for Sam Pittman. He seems like a great guy that's been wauting his turn for an opportunity as HC. He inherited a huge mess left behind by Chad Morris and had a good turnaround in year 1. But don't think he survives by the end of the year. Its a tough job being in the SEC West.

As for Mizzou and UK fans, LOL! You all are funny! Especially Mizzou fans. Mizzou literally had to release a video to teach their fans how to act at a football game. I think they have a lot of bandwagon fans who are in for a rude awakening. No way their offense continues to play as they have in SEC play. They have one guy, Luther Burden, who in my opinion is vastly overrated abd gets all hus yards from catches behind the LOS.

UK may be a formiddabke team in the SEC East this year, but I don't think they are anywhere near as good as they think they are. There OLime has been able to beat up on some weak opponents. I would take the UF game with a grain of salt. UFs defense looked lethargic and manhandled on LOS. I don't think UK can continue to be so one dimensional and have success. Georgia isn't going to let them get much on the ground and I'd argue our front 7 has been good containing the run game outside of one chunk play each game. I see UK losing to Georgia, us, and Alabama for sure. They probably win the rest. But they still won't be as good as their record says they are.

I decided to take a glance around the other SEC teams and see what the general consensus is so far this season from our foes.

-(Alabama) They want all coordinators fired. They’re not even close to happy with anything it seems. They are very nervous about A&M, LSU, Tennessee, and Kentucky. They are mad at Saban for hiring incompetent coordinators and not chewing enough ass.

-(Arkansas) Pittmans seat is red hot according to them. Their top new HC candidates include: Willie Fritz (HC FOR TULANE), Jeff Traylor (HC FOR UTSA, Mike Elko (HC FOR DUKE), Lance Leipold (HC FOR KANSAS), and Kendall Briles (OC FOR TCU). They are ready for basketball season, they’re done.

-(Auburn) There is a lot of “it’s okay” attitude going around about Freeze’s first year as HC. They don’t seem too discouraged about anything, just seem to accept they will take their lumps this year and then be leaps and bounds better next year.

-(Florida) Begging Napier to hire an OC. They feel like they have a better chance in home or neutral games compared to being on the road. They think they’re going to finish 5-7 or 6-6. If Napier doesn’t succeed next year, then he should be canned. Tennessee victory is long gone now, it’s all doom.

-(Georgia) Split fanbase right now. Some think they’re going to 3 peat, others are calling those 3 peat folks very graphic names. A majority does recognize that this isn’t Georgia of the old and some are claiming losses coming to Kentucky and Tennessee. There’s a lot of bickering going on about Bobo needing to be gone after this year.

-(LSU) Full meltdown mode is engaged. There are some calling for Brian Kelly’s head and for LSU to back up the Brinks trunk to Primes front door in Boulder. A lot of irrational thought going on, full of piss and vinegar. They don’t see winning many more games on the horizon.

-(Miss St) According to many, the program is a complete train wreck and has been for quite some time. They are not happy by any means about a single thing. There was even a thread about remembering good times in the program from the 90’s.

-(Missouri) A lot of similarities here between them and Kentucky’s board. A lot of them think that it’s them and Kentucky for the East. Drinkwitz is a savior now and they are supposedly better on offense than Ole Miss and will take it to LSU.

-(Ole Miss) Kiffin is back in good graces after a big win over LSU. They still see a couple of more losses coming, but for now they are still in the race for the West. They are urging the crowds to be bigger at home games as apparently the attendance has been low. Recruiting is a big topic and they feel like they’re doing a decent job at it.

-(South Carolina) The tables have turned in Columbia. They weren’t so much bothered by the UGA loss, but they are heated about losing to Tennessee. Beamer is falling from grace over there and Rattler is not high on their list neither. They are asking what it’ll take to actually compete for the East and how much longer it’s going to take.

-(Texas A&M) They are confident. The Miami loss was a fluke and they’re going to beat the hell out of Alabama. According to some, they don’t see another loss all year long. Tennessee really isn’t mentioned as the game is 2 weeks away. All focus is on Alabama and how bad they’re going to beat Saban.

-(Vanderbilt) Football talk is seemingly dead. I did see threads about a Cricket Club and the upcoming Bowling season. Baseball is being mentioned as well. Football program has been in the grave for years and they don’t think it’ll ever be resurrected. According to them, they need to throw some serious money to get a competent head coach to Nashville to finally right the ship.

Mike Leach is missed at Mississippi State.

It will be a while before Vanderbilt finds another James Franklin type to lead their program.

Will Florida be looking for a new head coach to start the 2024 season?

These are my bye week ponderings as I await the Texas A&M-Alabama shoot out on Saturday.

Wildcat fans as delusional as ever, LSU fans as irrational as ever, bammer fans as stupid as ever.

Mizzou is likely in for a rude awaking. They almost always play complete trash in their OOC games, and I mean, not just playing lower division teams but the worst of them. They made an exception by playing KSU this year and that is their only good win, since the other games were really lousy OOC opponents and Vandy. I think KSU is overated Mizzou is going to come back down hard this weekend.

Cole Cubelic was showing how UF repeatedly used bad technique...not closing gaps, and particularly going inside and thus sealing off their own would be tacklers instead of going outside on containment to press the runner to the sideline. It was a very interesting watch (on the Read and React show) but my point is that he was implying and even saying that these were very fundamental mistakes.

I just wish Cooper had been healthy for that game and Mincey not stupid enough to get arrested.

Florida fans will never give their coach credit for beating us. They feel it's their birthright. We have no one to blame but ourselves for that
True. We aren't good enough fans to will the team to beat Florida.
