What Other Message Boards Are Saying (Kentucky Edition)

The Kentucky play by play guy Tom Leach stupidly was bragging saying the Kentucky defense held Tennessee to six points below their average:rolleyes:
This cracks me up. I saw how they were playing that last drive in the 4th, working the clock all the way down and running the ball... told my wife "they just don't want us to put another one on them." LUL

Honestly, as poorly as ky’s offense played it probably was something a little positive for them. They forced us to punt more than any other team has this year. Their piss poor offensive and qb play kept their defense playing in a hole.

Our offense had penalties that put them in a hole on some series. That played a role setting up the punting situations.

I am starting to see him as a possibility at AUB or aTm.
Either he or Jeff Lebby must be looking good after the clinics Heupel and Co. have been giving against SEC defenses.
I hope not, but I would be thinking along this track if I was an AD.

nobody is going to A&M for awhile, Fisher's buyout is huge.

We punted 6 times vs Pitt. That is our most this year. I blame our first punt on the refs, their bogus PI call made it 1st and 25, that's never easy to recover from.

I think Bret Bielema of Illinois could be a candidate for Missouri and Louisville also.

He’d be perfect guy for Auburn. Low drama and would be able to recruit more talent for his run heavy offense than he did at Arkansas

AP or Hubbs mentioned Turnage being a "gamer". That seems like Hooker. Some things you can't see in a player until the lights come on both good (Hooker) and bad (JG). He and Slaughter played very well at CB. Hopefully they've discovered something.

But... we have to remember that UK isn't elite at WR. I think they're more overrated than Levis.

Turnage on the interception had picked up the receiver and was running with him when he got hit.

Interesting thread will Will Levis come back to Kentucky in 2023?

Should Levis consider coming back?

That seems like playing with fire to me. There’s so much downside. I mean last night didn’t help him. You are making the bet next year your team improves—while losing CRod.

I’m not big on Kentucky as a program. I think it’s a lot of smoke and mirrors. Taking advantage of good scheduling (MAC schools) and regularly feasting on Carolina, Missouri, Vandy and MS State every other year.

No school stands to lose more scheduling wise doing away with divisions than UK. Now you know why Mitch Barnhart was trying to lead the charge against a 9 game schedule. They know.

The biggest part of the equation is that Stoops has been at Kentucky while the East was at a low point. His win count versus teams that finished the year with decent records is terrible.
