Dude, those are the 3 worst.
In no world are the three states mentioned worse than the likes of Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas. Missouri is nothing to write home about by comparison, despite having KC and St. Louis, and Louisiana has a lot of great culture and food but falls short for being backward as well (New Orleans is a shell of itself).

In no particular order:
1. Texas is huge and has everything from the gulf coast to high plains, great barbecue (even though it pains me to admit it), and no fewer than four major metropolitan areas — two of which are absolutely massive — with tons to see and do.
2. Georgia has some mountains, lakes, Atlanta, Savannah, and the Golden Isles.
3. Florida has Miami and Tampa, in addition to a handful of other cities not worth mentioning. The gulf coast on the panhandle is nice; the whole area around Tampa is absolutely gorgeous, to say nothing of the coast further south. Add to that quaint coastal towns (looking at you, Fernandina Beach), St. Augustine, and Disney World/Universal. Take away the crazy politicians, hurricanes, and invasive reptiles, and Florida is basically a paradise.
4. Tennessee. Do I really have to say anything? I will. Nashville is one of the hippest, fastest-growing cities in the country. Memphis has BB King and barbecue. Knoxville and Chatty are honestly two of the coolest small cities you’ll find. Weather is wonderfully temperate. Not as sweltering as the deep south in the summer. You still get a winter and a decent snow or two every year, but it’s mild. Most of all, along with North Carolina, the Volunteer State has the best wilderness experience and mountain views east of the Mississippi river.

P.S. Kentucky sucks. If only the northern border of Tennessee was the Ohio River.

I live in Arkansas. It’s the most underrated state in the US for natural beauty

I don’t doubt that the Ozarks are lovely. But in all four states mentioned, you’ve got natural beauty like that plus a bunch of other stuff.

You’re right though, and I think it’s more because people don’t think of Arkansas that much rather than people not thinking much of Arkansas, if you get my meaning. Didn’t mean to dunk on the state you live in, just don’t see how Florida, Tejas, and Georgia can be the three worst states in the SEC footprint.

-We could honestly run the table against Tenn, Miss State, Alabama, South Carolina, and Louisville and get into Atlanta and the playoff. I truly believe this happens.

I want some of what he took, please.
Well most of their fans are recovering meth addicts.

There’s 3 states in the SEC I’d consider as good or better than TN. Texas, Florida, Georgia. That’s it. And the margin isn’t very high. The other states are absolute garbage. If all 10 Vandy fans want to throw shade, too, fine.
Reported for insanity - you’ve never been to Texas, Florida, and Georgia if you think they’re better states than Tennessee!

I don't get your meaning.

You mean bigger? More population? Consequently, more fertile recruiting?

Because that's about the only way I can see those states being better than Tennessee.

More beautiful? Absolutely not. More fun? Nope. Better values? Lol. Prettier girls? Not even close. Nicer music? Heh.

So I just don't see it. Except in recruiting grounds. Maybe that's what you meant.

Go Vols!
