This. Outside of UF, they had played a terrible schedule through the first 6 games and eeked out wins vs UTC, SCar and Mizzou. The “hicks” up there are too stupid to realize they’re finally playing teams with a pulse and 6-0 was simply a function of the schedule and not a predictor to the rest of the season; although it should’ve been.

Florida let Georgia beat ‘em two In a row…and that’s a coaching problem. Same thing happened to us last year - after imploding in the second half against Georgia we failed to show up against Kentucky.

Kentucky fans - the ones I know anyway - are good folks who love the Cats. They have suffered with poor football teams for ages and have been cautiously optimistic with Stoops slowly improving the team. I think most realize he has improved the team but also realize he has about reached his ceiling.

It only takes a few bad fans to get the entire fan base labeled and Lord knows we have our share. If you’re posting on opposing fan‘s message boards right after we beat them then you are the fans to whom they are referring.

After last nights game I thought how different the world might be if Bear Bryant had stayed at Kentucky. What would the people of Alabama be doing in the fall? Would they be excited to see basketball season finally getting here?

UK fans are feeling the Richt effect though, they’ve seen what his ceiling is and are debating if that’s good enough for them. He’s a good coach and has definitely made them a mid to upper mid force in the SECE but people always want more.
