VOLS player (may have been Beasley... I'll go back and check) took a very late hit a couple plays following Swann getting drilled that didn't get called. Retaliation. It got outa hand.

EDIT: At 3:00 on the play following Swann getting racked, Vandy #14 hit Pearce way after play was over. It wasn't a hard hit... just an "I'm here hit". I don't believe there was a flag. It got real chippy from there.

Never an excuse for an unsportsmanlike penalty.

I'm astonished no one got ejected. Our guys weren't angels by any means. But it was mostly Vandy starting @#$% from what I saw. Ultimately it all got started by the zebras not blowing the whistle on two plays and then not putting a stop to the chippyness fast enough. Players are coached to be aggressive and protect each other. The refs and coaches have to be cooler heads.

Alabama barely beating auburn today was our loss of the year. We had them beat and Banks quit. A big bowl game depended on that game

Lea somewhat instigated the fight about three plays before by his actions and should have been flagged and then later ejected as well as their players who left the bench

I don't know what it takes to be ejected from game. Targeting is one (didn't apply). I THINK 2 personal fouls or 2 unsportsmanlike conduct.

Someone on this board has been tossed, knows, will inform. 😀

Section 42.23 of the SEC bylaws states "If it is the best interest of Georgia or Alabama, a player will be ejected."

Nico is a 5 star qb. Amazing how Tennessee fans think coach Heupel can't get in a 12 team playoff. Stop calling people who believe crack heads. If you hate us find another team

😂 I’ve probably been a fan of this team longer than you’ve been breathing son. If I were going to “find another team” I would’ve likely already done it during the last fifteen years. A five star qb without a decent Oline isn’t going to do crap. Not saying we can’t get there but it isn’t as simple as Nico is five stars=we’re going to win.

I don't even think it was that. They just didn’t blow the whistle and therefore couldn't flag us for late hits. Lea getting an unsportsmanlike didn't help Vandy for the rest of the game either.

We looked like doo doo in our 4 losses. Got pummeled in those games. A RS freshman QB isn’t going to solve all of those woes. I’m expecting another 8-4 season and not being overly competitive in at least 3 of those losses (Bama, Georgia, and Oklahoma).

Not sure I understand your question.

People and organizations that function at the highest levels want to associate with the best. The SEC is the best football conference in the universe. PERIOD

I spent some time with a big OU (as in Oklahoma) fan this past week. He's excited OU is joining the SEC because of better officiating. I just smiled and told him he's in for an awakening.

Maybe I am not as old or wise as you, and I don’t understand why you don't trust Coach Heupel. He had us #1 last year, and #4 before the gamecocks. We will be competitive next year. Alabama is declining, and the bulldogs luck runs out next week.
