Game aside...I had a chance to pass by UTEP on vacation this past September...Goodness, you talk about a beautiful campus, and the Sun Bowl stadium is situated between the desert hills. It's actually quite breathtaking as you pass by on the interstate...I remember thinking, this would be a cool road game to attend.

El Paso is not a bad place to kind of chill for a little bit. Always have a good time there. Bit of everything going on. Pretty diverse food wise. Reminded.me of a smaller version of Albuquerque. Spent 6 months there working on a project and didn't even bother flying back home to Dallas on the weekends most of the time.


Regarding being cool with visiting fans. Remember these are Texans in the end so they are of like minds about most things. They know they're gonna get hammered on the field Saturday. They just want to have fun and see the sights and sounds.

Really do wish college game would adopt what the high schools here in Indiana have done with a running clock.
If a team has a 35 point lead, the second half is a running clock - clock only stops on possession changes and nothing else.
Game is decided, let's get it over with and off the field.

They do that here in Illinois too. Running clock if a team is up by 40 in the second half. We’ve had a few in the playoffs so far.

Honestly think Nico and the starting receivers plus Matthews need to be playing at least halfway through the 3rd. They’ve got to get their chemistry down. As long as Nico is kept clean and upright while he’s in.

For sure. Pretty much every easy game outside of Chattanooga, the run game snapped too hard and the pass game didn’t get too as much and I feel like they needed those live reps in hindsight.
