As for the topic of the thread... I am excited most to see Trae tbh. Then Maymon, then Stokes. Reason you ask? Okay, here goes. I haven't seen a combination of two players improve from year one to year two in quite a long time if ever. I guess I expect Stokes to pick right up where he left off. If there is that magical year two growth that CCM got out of Golden and Maymon, the rest of the country better just concede defeat as the lineups are announced... lol
If he sees significant minutes at the 3 this year were hurting IMO.
I dont know about being thin at the 3?!!
There's 40 minutes available and you have Edwards, McRae, Q, Richardson all competing there for minutes.
Reese gives us length and defense. I think if we get a solid 12 min out of him we will be solid. McRae cannot play the three... Thats when we will be hurting
Reese also can't throw the ball into the ocean, how do you know Reese can guard the 3, when has he proven that?
Like I said, if Reese is seeing significant minutes(and yea 12 minutes is significant) then that's not a good sign for us.
And were are you getting McRae cannot play the 3? For starters the 2&3 are completely interchangeable in Martin's motion offense, the difference comes on defense. McRae is a much better defender at the 3 than the 2, a lot of guys at the 2 are just too quick for Jordan. Really not sure where you're getting he can't play the 3 from, he spent a lot of his time there last year.
