What record would we need to get Gameday?

You know that all things being equal ESPN wants to be here on Oct 25th next season. If we could go %500 against OU/UGA/Fla/Ole Miss then I think that would be enough to get it done. It would obviously depend on Bamas record and what other games were that week. I really hope we get it that weekend because the set atmosphere and signs would be priceless.

TCU took our spot in the song..they just went 4-8 so maybe so maybe Big & Rich will put Rocky Top back in...aftertheyfinishahitofbathtubcrank.

I don't see what your issue is with what I said. I didn't say we would get that many wins. I just asked how many people thought It would take and that it would be exciting if we did. Some of you girls in this forum just want to argue about anything.

It truly depends on circumstances of other ranked teams. I would guess we need to both be undefeated in SEC games to get the nod.

I can't imagine the warm heartfelt welcome Kiffin will receive when he comes walking back into our house. I hope the state trooper that escorts him uses his tazer gun on his nuts.

Very valid question, OP. Ignore the punks on here.

IMO, it's really a question of whether Bama participates in a Gameday matchup prior to meeting us. Don't doubt for a minute that the E wants to highlight the Kiff story, and I don't just mean the "Ride in mouthing off, elope after one year to marry the dream job, utterly fail and get fired mid-season, only to rise from the ashes under Saban at the biggest rival UT has" story.

Kiffin's life makes for good play, they'll want it. They may not care about the UT angle enough to run it a second time, though.

I'm just being real. Weve had 3 losing seasons in a row. We've beaten 1 ranked team in like 4 years. We have virtually no chance of beating Bama barring some epic **** happening. I'm sure there are much better games that week that might have some sort of uhhhh real implications maybe? Game day isn't going to come just because our ex coach is one of their coordinators. Not many people outside the state of TN will even care.
