Fellows and R. Kemp will also challenge Evans, and Willingam for the corner spot. I think Berry will start on the other corner. And Hefney and McKenzie will be the safeties.

I think Kemp is gonna be a stud. I think he will start at CB at some point next season. Him and Berry are the future CB's for UT.

IVe said it a few times...Nevin McKenzie looks sick...With him and Hefney back at the safeties, I would be afraid to catch the ball...

With the way Mckenzie hits, I'd be very surprised if he lasts the whole year. He'll take a lot of punishment from hittin guys so hard

If Hefney moves to corner, who would fill that safety spot... Wardlow. or would we put Berry back at FS and still have Fellows, Kemp, or Willingham at the other Corner.

They really like Art Evans, but I don't think Chavis would like having 2 freshmen in the defensive backfield.

i think berry is a lock for CB. not saying he will start right off the bat, but that is his best position

you saw him at the Army game didn't you? Pretty much lock down corner...anyways, i dont think Evans will see much PT unless its on KR/PR..He looked amazing doin that on film.

If Hefney does move back to CB then Wardlow is the likely candidate to fill his spot. Berry is playing CB. There is no doubt about that. I think your opinion of Fellows is quite a ways off. At 100% he is below Kemp and maybe even Johnson. I dont know who you heard from about Hefney but I hope you are right. I think our best combo could possibly be:

S: Mckenzie
S: Wardlow
CB: Berry
CB: Hefney

There could also be the possibility of:

S-Willingham
S-McKenzie
CB-Hefney
CB-Berry

Either way, it seems as if Berry, Hefney, and McKenzie are expected to start with the last spot open.

I'll buy this. I know that Berry wants to play CB, and he could be a lock-down guy there. Hef is a natural CB and with his experience would be able to take on anyone's #1 reciever. McKenzie is a unanimous pick for S. The other safety spot I think is going to be the highly contested one. Willingham, Fellow, Wardlow, and Evans will probalby work themselves to death trying to earn the start. I think that the best thing about all of this though is depth.

actually he got burnt once or twice and got lucky that the guy either dropped it or was out of bounds when he caught it

And it was in his first week of ever playing CB. Not too bad considering he was playing against the top WRs in his class. He guarded Ahmad Paige and Gerald Jones alot in that game.
