...on gameday when they're about to run through the T? Does anyone know? I always thought doolz would play something really generic and lame so i'm hoping it's something better this year so the players can actually get amped up to it before taking the field.

One word...a word that's been a theme (on this forum) as of late, with this recruiting class. Seems only fitting....BOOM!!!

Is it bad that I hate rocky top. I will sing it and woo but deep down in me there is hate for that song. In a perfect world the band would play our actual fight song "down the field" 300 times a game. It pisses me off that they barely play it. The sad thing is, I sort of agree with you because your post states how things should be. BUT, Rockytop is so much part of Vols games that it would be sacrilege to cease doing what we do now. Just as our popsicle jerseys and true orange outfits makes the team so unique and instantly recognized, Rockytop is Tennessee. And we shouldn't want it any other way.

For non league games they play "Beth" from KISS. For league games they play the theme song from the "Jeffersons". And for bowl games, they play "the Brady Bunch" theme song. Who wouldnt get fired up??
