they never figgered out that Dunbar wasn't on the court so they played man defense?
How do you know they weren't playing for Holly?
If this is what you think, you didn't watch the game. Holly didn't coach? Players weren't playing for her also? Didn't sound that way in the presser. You're really reaching now to bash someone. Players don't play tight because of coaching most of the time. It comes from a lack of confidence.++++++++++++
because of the relaxed way they played.
they didn't freak out... the only other time i saw this out of this team, was when she pulled her sit-down act and let them play... that is the only other time i have seen them fully relaxed. The more she coaches, the less relaxed they play... Watch for this and you will see.
The job of any coach is to prepare them for a game...If a coach has to "coach" during a game, it is for one of two reasons... 1) Because the other coach did their job too and it is a coaching-chess-match, or, 2) because you didn't do yours........As a coach, If you have to do more than "manage" a game", , , there is a reason!.
When Dunbar came in the 2nd quarter, I was pretty quickly screaming for Holly to get someone else on the court. During that stretch, the LVs were playing 4 on 5 basketball.
And Holly rightly made the switch after about 3-4 minutes of flirting with the brink.
Right now Dunbar's game is standing around 30 feet from the rim and hoping that the other team decides not to guard her. Going forward, she has got to work harder on getting open (i.e. movement off the ball) and find other ways to contribute. It is one thing to be a 3-pt. specialist but she needs to have some other facets of the game, like defending or rebounding.
Well some impartial committee sponsored by McD's elected 7 of them HS All Americans..... so implicit is your answer I think..... even Ohio State only has 4 McD HS AAs

In my opinion a Tennessee Uconn nc would be more compelling than a Uconn ND or Uconn south carolina nc game. Although you guys are going to have your hands full with a potential Baylor semi final matchup..
Aren't we lucky to have grand master Coach Jumper here now so we are no longer wandering in the wilderness?
How did we ever find our way before?
The LVs must defeat SC and ND to play UCONN. This is assuming that SC and ND win their games. The LVs will defeat UCONN if this happens!
If we beat SC, we match up with ND if they come out of Lexington
