lol it wasn't the color of the teams or the fact they had coaching ties that was the issue. It's what's been said how the program operated and another coach had a hand in it and they went to another school.

The story goes that she tried to get Candace while she was here... she tried to get her to transfer. Jeff was an assistant with Brenda when this happened. He was an asst coach when Candace's signing class teammate transferred to UMD.

For all the 4 & 5 stars she’s got to transfer in and an entire year she got to implement her scheme while everyone else played, you’d think her non-conference schedule would be better than this! If Kellie decided on this type of schedule at any point in her tenure, we wouldn’t hear the end of it from some of you!
Imo this schedule is unacceptable!

Her roster consist of the following transfers who are all likely eligible immediately alongside their rankings via the almighty ESPN Hoopgurlz rankings that some of you swear by:
Elizabeth Balogun- #15
Celeste Taylor-#40
Jordan Oliver-#12
Nyah Green-#23
Amaya Finklea-Guilty-#41
Lexie Gordon-#29

That doesn’t even account for
Jade Williams-#14
Shayeann Day-Wilson-#41
Vanessa De Jesus-#37
Onome Akinbode-James-#76

That’s 10 Top 100 recruits, 6 of which are transfers and only one is not likely to get immediate eligibility (Balogun)!

Let’s hear the excuses for this schedule?

ridiculous meanwhile Kellie has half the talent according to ESPN and we are playing Stanford,Texas,UConn,&USF

More than likely not, last season is more than likely the season she inherited and with that schedule (and due to Covid-19) somebody at Duke decided to cancel the season last year. She had an entire season while other teams played to schedule a tougher schedule

Yes on Maryland. I wish there were pictures of when Pat confronted Brenda about it.

Walz is a snake that used Tennessee’s brand TWICE to get himself raises at Louisville by putting out in the media that he was taking to Tennessee concerning coming here to coach, even though he was never contacted at all.

Kara and Banghart used the Sylvia Hatchell non conference schedule playbook this season. Banghart's excuse is that the team is young. These type of schedules made me realize enough mid-major schools in NC to the point Dook, UNC, NC. State, and Wake wouldn't have to leave the State of NC for their non conference games if they didn't want to.

remember several years ago the LVs had all to similar of a preseason schedule. The question is how many losses (can be avoided by cupcake) versus how much growth early in the year for the team.
