Key point. The answer is no. Not even close. I'm not even sure it deserves an 8 game suspension.

Probably doesn't deserve any action at all. Why all the issues over NCAA violations---every single school that plays above .500 or that makes the tournament cheats and buys players. At least Pearl, for some reason, didn't buy players. Sad that he only had secondary violations util the lies started. Guess that's why we didn't get past the elite 8 last year.

SIAP. Heard CM Newton interview and he indicated that the announcers keep getting it wrong. The SEC suspension from Slive is for the text messaging that violated SEC rules; not for the lying to the NCAA.
