for autographs? i think 5am is a good start. the autographs is one of the most important things besides family time concerning the orange and white game.

5 A.M. and you'll be at the entrance to Lindsay Nelson stadium listening to Crickets.

Love the Enthusiasm though.

if you don't get there early enough you won't get the autographs you need to complete your collection.

Didn't want to start a new thread so I'll ask here. Does any one know if you are allowed to bring food or drinks into the O&W game? I know you can't for regular games. I haven't been to an O&W game in many years and couldn't remember. Thanks in advance.

We're coming from Nashville and had planned on leaving by 7 our time, which would put us in Knoxville around 10:30. Is this too late? We had hoped to show up check things out grab lunch then go to the game. We have no idea what we're doing lol never been to an orange and white game

You'll be ok for the game but too late for autographs.

In addition to free admission to the game, Fan Appreciation Day will feature an autograph signing with head coach Butch Jones and Vol players on the field at Neyland Stadium.
The signing will be held on the field at Neyland Stadium from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The waiting line for the fans will begin forming at 7 a.m., at Gate 7 and the gate will open at 11 a.m.
During the autograph session, the team will be divided by position.
Coach Butch Jones will be located in the North end zone of Neyland Stadium. Fans will be allowed one item for autograph per player or coach.

Hey ya'll I'll be coming from about 25 minutes away... If I get to the gates around... 9:45-10:00 is that too late?

If it is hyped anything like espn gameday was then. You need to be here at 2.....am, timing really just depends on how excited everyone is.

The crowd lined up to get in for autographs last year was ridiculous (that should tell you something). We were already in the stadium sitting down when they started herding people off the field. I don't know how many never even made it in the stadium. Good luck to anybody trying it this year.

That isn't what I wanted to hear. Really wanted my son to meet Tiny and others on the team. He plays OL/DL and wanted to give him some inspiration. We live almost 3 hrs away so maybe just the game is in store for us and no autographs.

Are there any other times to meet coaches/players during the day besides autograph session?

Also, if we get there at say 12:00 we can just go in and find the best seat we can to sit in?

You will be the only one in line at 7:00 am.
