What time are folks gonna show up to get in line...

You also need to park at the back of the parking lot so you can beat traffic. Lesson from Wally World.

I'm sure I'm not going to be able get in line adult enough to get autographs but would love for my son and to get pictures on the checkerboards. Anyone know if we're allowed to go in just for pictures?

Went to the O&W game one year when I was a kid and lines for autographs were way to long to wait. So my dad and I just walked around on the field and talked about past games/plays. Was a better memory than any autograph.

for autographs? i think 5am is a good start. the autographs is one of the most important things besides family time concerning the orange and white game.

Definitely need to get there early if you want more than one groups autographs. I got Eric Berry's a few yrs back and was in the CB, secondary line forever and thats the only group I got and the yr before I got all the WR's and it was all I had time for. You just dont have a long time to get everyones that you want. Living close to Hoover, AL I go to media days every year and always have good luck getting them. Last year they were allowed to bring 3my but before that it was just 2 players. I will be curious to see who CBJ brings this yr, especially not having any true leaders on either side of the ball.

Will the checkerboards be painted for it. Have been a couple times when they did the Autograph's on Neyland and not the practice field and the checkerboards werent painted at that time. Really sucked my son was only 2 and I wanted to do some with him on the checkerboards and they werent painted up. But we
did get a few of him with some very cute cheerleaders.

folks started lining up at 630am last year. i only need the dl, secondary, wr, te, and qb and rb. if you move quickly you can get more than one group. i will have small pictures of current photos of terry fair and antone davis and condridge, as i want to meet them as well. for whatever reason my dad wants butch jones autograph on a brick. also bring index cards and plenty of sharpies. the only reason i need most of the groups i mentioned is because of the early enrollies.

Didn't want to start a new thread so I'll ask here. Does any one know if you are allowed to bring food or drinks into the O&W game? I know you can't for regular games. I haven't been to an O&W game in many years and couldn't remember. Thanks in advance.

I don't think so but check the following site to be sure: UTSPORTS.COM - University of Tennessee Athletics - Gameday

being in the red so much, I imagine they will tighten up to maximize profit so restrict and even enforce certain things now. My wife and I have brought subs and drinks inside when told we can't. The stuff was in plain sight and the cops at the gate even looked into the bags and waved us through. But i don't think we'd get away with that now. JMO.

Out of curiosity, what do people do with all these autographs? I can understand wanting one from a superstar, but I'm not sure we have one of those on the team.

i display them. there are potential superstars on this team. aka when they have potential is the best time to get their autograph.

There are plenty of potential superstars and future NFL players.

I'd say he brings his recruiting coordinator Byron moore

I feel inclined to say get out of the way and let some kids get some autographs.

I don't mean anyone in particular, just let the kids get in there. Grow the next generation.

We're coming from Nashville and had planned on leaving by 7 our time, which would put us in Knoxville around 10:30. Is this too late? We had hoped to show up check things out grab lunch then go to the game. We have no idea what we're doing lol never been to an orange and white game

We're coming in from Sumner county as well. Depending on traffic, you should be downtown by 11. I think that will be plenty of time. I told my wife we're leaving at 6 so that we are out by 7.
