That's awesome you still have the ticket ... I would have to frame that. So sad what happened. Ronnie was one hell of a song writer. RIPFirst: Volunteer Jam 3. the best I can remember was Charlie Daniels, Dobie Gray, Marshall Tucker, Part of the Allman Brothers... Sea Level... Oh and Wet Willie.... There were a bunch more too, but those are the ones I remember
Best: George Benson at the Opry House with an orchestra. The music was so acoustically good it brought tears. Best light show was Blue Oyster Cult. Loudest was Ted Nugent. My ears still ring from that. And actually... I saw The Alan Parsons Project at The Fred in Peach Tree City a couple of years ago, and they were AMAZING. Kansas was awesome. The Dixie Dregs at the Exit Inn were amazing.... It is really hard to decide on just one. In the 70s, I saw a BUNCH of concerts. Nashville was awesome in those days and they were affordable.
Worst: Steve Martin at UT. Not his fault, but he got sick, took a break and didn't return to the stage.. I was supposed to see Lynyrd Skynyrd a week after the plane crash. I still have the unused ticket somewhere.
Grateful Dead Berkeley 1968
Jimi Hendrix Berkeley 1970
Grateful Dead Filmore West 1969 - band was too wasted to play
Fairly certain no one wanted to hear about your first dong.Dong remember my 1st.
Best was TOOL Sunday night in Raleigh. Had seats in the 10th row and VIP afterparty passes...and their new album and production this time is amazing. Played for 2 hours and 20 mins. From all 5 albums. All the hits...amazing show. Have seen them twice and Perfect Circle before. Nothing like this.
Had tickets to see Ponk Floyd at Clemson in the 90s...my favorite band sans TOOL...got locked up and couldnt go. Was 17. Damn.
Worst ever....hmmm. Korn was terrible once...also nearly every rap act that I used to really like as a kid. Rap sucks live in outdoor venues. Badly. Snoop was an exception. WuTang was also. Everyone else I ever saw was terrible.
Surprisingly great????
Steve Miller Band at Park City Utah
Natural amphitheater cliffs 3 sides...amazing show...2 encores. Was the best show I ever saw until sunday...and that was 25 years ago. That good...joker.
Wild mountain honey..take money and run...etc.etc...very very good
I made it to the front row of that show for Soundgarden and Metallica. Funny story, matt Cameron, bassist for Soundgarden was like 5 feet in front of me and a girl next to me kept flashing her boobs at him. He finally pulled up his shirt and shouted, "mine are bigger than yours!" She was pissed, good times!I forgot about the flag thing. I also remember couple of guys managing to make it onto the stage and diving off. One of then tried to grab Zach and I thought he was about to start throwing punches. Luckily the dude dove off the stage and the show went on.

Favorite band is Tool as well. Went the Rockville and they got rained out and I was sooo mad. Was going to go to the Raliegh show. Ended up waiting and got floor seats to their Atlanta show in January.Dong remember my 1st.
