My first bike was a Honda Z50 (similar to the photo). I've had a bike basically all my life including the Harley I currently ride. I honestly don't know how life would be without some kind of motorcycle.

Couldn't afford a motorcycle. First one I rode was a classmate's Sears 125.

So, my family has fallen on hard times. My brother and I need wheels (there are only so many girls who will drive you around on a date, not matter how cute you are). Our father offered a broken down 1967&1/2 VW Bug (12-volt electrical system), if we could get it running. We pooled our money ($125) and got it legal. Yeah, it was no Camaro or Firebird, but it would get you around and keep the rain off ya (not as cool as a bike, but more dates).

2010 Yamaha r6. Motorcycles always intimidated me. Rode for a year then sold it. I couldn't enjoy it because of my fear of them.

So I bought a fast car instead. :)
Should have started on something smaller. Those things are a blast.

I guess technically my first bike was my dads 97 Nighthawk CB250. I had ridden dirtbikes my entire childhood but the Nighthawk was the first street bike I rode. When I turned 15 I got a Ninja 250. Year or so later moved up to the Ninja 500, then a 2013 R6. Sold it when I was 23, almost 30 now and haven't had a bike since. Wife does not approve. I pick my battles.

1967 Bridgestone 90. Purchased in 1971, I thought I was Jim Bronson. :) Been riding something ever since. Got a couple of bikes in the garage, my choice currently is my Triumph Thunderbird

I wouldn't mind having a few of those old Hondas, Yammers, BSA's or Triumphs from the 60-70s today. Cool old bikes.

I don't know yet. You guys tell me what it should be. I'm leaning vintage (pre-1980). I kind of like cafe racers. Don't mind if it needs work. Needs to seat two.

Can't go wrong with a Honda Four. If you're in the Knoxville area check out The Lad and Lass off Central. He usually has some cool vintage for sale.

Had a 94 Honda shadow as my first street bike. I'll never forget riding it to the dmv to get my license and they turned me away because they were closing. So I hopped back on it and rode home just in time to meet my dad there and immediately get chewed out.haha Got 2015 Yamaha Stryker after that but sold it due to how dangerous South Carolina drivers are.
