No! unless we beat Kentucky in Lexington.

yes we would be in the tournament imo with that resume. thats a 19 win team with wins over uconn, uf, ill say vandy, and bama. the committee will take into consideration the teams play with stokes and will give us the nod.

i agree with you zjc 8-2/7-3 but i think its depending on bama and florida. i say loss to uk and we are capable of winning 1 of those games, all the others i think we can pull off.

Probably 6-4. Win 3 games in the SEC Tourny and then we can think about the Dance.
Still a long way to go for a team that frankly is not a very good shooting team, especially on the road

They're gonna lose a game or 2 that they shouldn't and I'm picking that game to be @ USC. The lone road win for the season is at LSU. At best this team is NIT bound. We beat a bad AUB team yesterday and suddenly we're NCAA material? I heard the same talk after the FL & UConn wins... Fool me once, shame on me.

I voted 7-3, but think 6-4. Hoping we steal one or two on the road and hold steady at home! Hope we punish Candy heading into SEC tourney.

Not very likely.
A win at Rupp would help, but our current RPI is 146.
We would probably have to beat Fla, Bama and Vandy in addition to beating KY to get our RPI high enough to even be considered. (usually in the 70s)
Too many other teams are ahead of us.

you really dont think so? from what i gathered last nights win puts us around 128-130 range. i think winning all remaining games except @ rupp and say @ florida plus 1 in the sec t that puts us at 19 wins, thats usually an automatic bubble team consideration. 19-12 (10-6) wins over uconn, florida, @bama, vandy, arkansas? pretty good resume especially if the committee takes stokes into account.

this is a very unlikely scenario anyways so not much point is wasting too much breath on it but i just figured that resume would be atleast a bubble team.

There were a lot of 18 and 19 win teams last year that didn't make because of their RPI.
Maryland for example had 19 and wasn't even invited to the NIT.

A win at Rupp might vault us into the upper 100s.
Making up 30 more spots with the rest of our schedule is doubtful.
We got in last year with 19 wins because our RPI was 41.

18 or 19 will make the big dance difficult. It should warrant a home game or so for the little dance though.

8-2 finish is 18-13(10-6) and with stokes 10-5 overall. I think 1 win in the sec t would get us on the bubble, and 2 wins would get us in. I fully expect the committee to take into consideration stokes, so if our rpi was a bit higher than you'd want I think they'd give us the nod. Obviously 8-2 finish is highly unlikely so it's all contingent on that actually happening for this discussion to be relevant.

Hell we could just be like uga and win the sec t and get in that way.

8-2 and 2-1 in the sec tourney. I dont see an ncaa bit but i think we'll be on the bubble and will have a good shot of getting to Brooklyn for the final four

That's 20-14 with wins vs fla, @flor, vs Msu, vs Uconn, vs vandy and vs Arkansas. Plus the 2 sec wins could be flor or vandy again. I don't see us not making it with that resume especially with stokes being accounted mid season. With that said if its nit it'll be Madison square garden not brooklyn.
