sorry i was confusing the preseason nit with the actual one. Regardless of 19-20 wins, i dont see our rpi being that strong. Florida is nice but we have a lot of bad losses. I dont think uconn will get in either and see them falling harder then we are are. Pitt and memphis is the same to me. memphis won't get an at-large bid and they will more than likely get dropped in the cusa tourney. it will be interesting but i really think we dug our own grave. Hopefully im wrong...id love to see this bunch in the tourney

Uconn will get in they are getting back on tack boatright just got cleared to finally come back and play. When he was ruled in eligible that's when their skid started he's back now so they'll be dancing no doubt.

i'm feeling optimistic. 8-2... with losses to UK and Florida... and we make it to the SECTCG and squeak into the big dance! :loco:

I'm thinking 5-5 or 6-4 at best. I'm saying we get our one elusive road win at USCjr. We lose at Ky, Fla, Bama and LSU. I think we can win at LSU, but I don't know if we will. I think Bama has been a disappointment this year, but I don't see us beating them down there. I'd like for us to beat Candy at home, but they actually have played better on the road than at home. If we can pull off another road win and a win over Candy then 6-4 or 7-3, but 5-5 is more realistic.

Not trying to troll here or anything, but how would a team who can't even beat Georgia on the road win in Gainesville and Tuscaloosa?

1. We are getting better. Also, if we can beat Florida by 10+, then we can get them at your place. Also, Bama doesn't score the ball, which only helps us.

2. I'm a Tennessee fan, so I'm using homer logic.

Because they manhandled them without arguably their best player at home. If this tean does figure out the road woes they have already shown they are easily capable of beating uf.

zjc is looking pretty solid with his predictions. No one predicted 9-1......

yup that was my prediction, seems we agree on most things about this team. i said 7-3 but i can see 8-2 with an upset of either uf/bama and the other loss coming tuesday.

excuse me, i'll take some credit too there poochie???

We seem to have the momentum of a runaway freight train. Where does said train stop? Final Four perhaps?

i agree with you zjc 8-2/7-3 but i think its depending on bama and florida. i say loss to uk and we are capable of winning 1 of those games, all the others i think we can pull off.

Whoa nelly...

lets worry about getting into the dance first.

Interesting that the UK poster who joined in March of 2010 and chose UK's March of 2010 margin of victory over UT as his screen name picked the Vols to finish 2-8.
