What will happen to FSU, Miami and VT....

Right, so you compare the U to Notre Dame and yet during Notre Dames struggles the U has National Championships.

So which is it?

Neither program is relevant now, that was my point.

The dynamic of Notre Dame getting more TV exposure than other programs, or playing an independent schedule (also applies to Miami in the 80s), or Miami playing several national championship games on its home field under the old bowl system....all gone.

Now Miami can't sniff the ACC title game, and Notre Dame struggles with Navy.

2 years this will all be an after thought no matter what leaque Miami will be in.

Perhaps, although I think Miami is a perfect fit for the ACC (small private school with limited athletic funding and an apathetic fan base), and I don't see them becoming nationally relevant anytime soon.

I just think Miami brings very little to the table to warrant an SEC invite.

If by very little you mean nothing, then I agree.

I have no desire to be in the sec, I thought it was foolish to leave the big east.

Boy, after being such a hot topic a few weeks back, this conference realignment mess has really died off for the time being. I have no doubt in my non-military mind that it will arise again, but for now, it really took a sidetrack. And that's for the best, as far as I'm concerned. It's getting goobish out there.
