What wrinkles do you expect coming off a bye week?

I can promise you there would be lots of angry GA fans should Gurley get hurt on kickoff. Cam isn't back there because he's the fastest most elusive guy we have; he's back there because he doesn't drop the ball and it's a fair catch most of the time anyways.

I don't get all the Devrin Young hate.

Sure, he doesn't really give you that threat of taking it to the house, but before he got here I cringed watching whoever else try and catch the ball. Guess people would rather a freshman get his start in our first SEC game, that is away at Georgia?

It's not hate so much as a frustration with a lack of production this season and less production from his freshman season to his senior year.

That's definitely the wrong way to trend in college football.

There may or may not be better options at KR but it would certainly be refreshing to see them try someone else because it's been pretty pathetic this season so far.

The reality is that he would have NEVER been offered if Jones or Fulmer.. Etc was the coach. Who else offered him in the conference?

We are going to get crazy and run the ball outside of the tackles

This is just crazy talk! Before you know it you will say we may throw some slant passes or screens in the flats.

You drunk? :lolabove:

How about a medium range pass down the seam to Wolf? Something different. Just sayin'.

Deep ball. Surely they have worked on this. If the threat is there, it'll help everything else. Kickoffs would be my second pick.

I would like to see one or two QB designed run plays early in the 1st half.

Why not take one from Peyton's playbook during the Denver Seattle game and hit them with the shovel pass underneath

I believe we're going to see more of the playbook. The Dawgs have film of the limited amount we've run. Wrinkles or entirely new sets is what I absolutely expect. If that don't happen, the coaches aren't seeing enough improvement in the execution of the existing playbook to warrant adding more to poorly execute. It's a young line, we'll see what CBJ has faith in.

Any chance those really slow end arounds to Pig so far this year will be used to set up something against UGA and UF? Those really had little chance of success against OU. Maybe setting up something for this week or next. (they aren't actually end arounds, but drawing a blank on actual name)

Just punch the dogs in the mouf and run it down their ****ing gullet. Let Hurd show the country who the real Boss is. Couple of years ago NCSU had the all-American D-back who had early Heisman mention. UT dashed and trashed his hopes. Keaton from USU had early Heisman mentions. UT dashed those hopes. Now we have Gurley with Heisman mentions. Time to trash his hopes. No chicanery needed. Smash the dogs in the mouf.
