I worked at a grocery store when I was in HS. I enjoyed it, I moved my way from bagger to produce. I vowed I will never work fast food. I would steer clear of that.

I grew up in Brentwood, TN and had alot of friends who worked at Hills Grocery. they all liked it but back then it was closed on Sundays and they did not stay open late because they did not sell beer. I don't know how it is now. I would stay away from Subway, not speaking from experience but when I go there the workers seldom look happy and working that closely with the public can test your patience. At age 16 you probably would not be running a cash register so I assume Fred's, Foodlion, or Hills would would do alot of stocking, bagging, etc. I would try those three if it was me.

My father and I have a Honda motorcycle dealership. He has had the dealership for over 40 years. Anybody needing cheap transportation hit me up (kind of slow this year). :cross:

It's slow? I know of three people who bought motorcycles since the gas spike. Guess it goes by area.

Motorcycles in KY are not safe. Especially in eastern KY. Nothing but pickups, coal trucks and winding roads.

I have read tons of posts and have always wondered.  What do all you people do!

So, I thought why not ask.  Be specific.  If you're a factory worker.  Tell us what you make.  A student?  Where, what.

I'll go first.  No shame here, we are all family.

I am a Criminal Investigator in the Air Force.  (Yeah, we have criminals, recruiters suck)
