That's why I have stuck with CCM so long until last night. Unlike Dooley (because he was a super douche and I didn't support him from day one) he's a nice guy that has brought some integrity back to the program. But I like winning better and I thought he could bring both. But I've lost faith now and just wish him and his family the best and think that we should move on. I think Purdue is his dream job. Go back their and be an assistant and try to learn as much as you can and then try to take over Purdue one day. I want to see him successful somewhere because I like to see good guys succeed. Unfortunately I just don't see it here anymore.

I thought CCM deserved to get to year three and to get some guys in here and see what he could do with them but this is ridiculous. This is a team with enough talent to make the Big Dance but it's evident it's not gonna happen under Martin's watch. I'm not sure this team can even make the NIT and if they do if there isn't a big change in the way they play it's going to be one and done.

Cheek was hired to make UT a top25 research university. Whoever said he runs the athletic department is sorely misinformed. Mike Hamilton presided over the Fulmer/Kiffin debacle before Cheek even got here. Mikey made the Dooley hire, Raleigh and Zo.

And Hamilton engineered his own sweet buyout...which put the capper on our richly-deserved reputation as "Buyout U."

CCM is on our AD's. When they hire a promising but virtually unproven coach the fundamental expectation is he/she will continue to improve as a coach as they mature - just as you expect a freshman to be better as a senior. CCM is now a junior. Is he getting better as a coach? I don't see it.

Recruiting - B+/A-
Off-Court Team Conduct - B+ (A+ if not for the Trea Golden incident)
Represents the University - A

Having a team prepared to start of the season - D-
Having a team prepared to tip off a game - C-
Team Defense - B
Play hard for 40 Minutes - C-
In-game adjustments - C-
Intensity to match/surpass opponent - D
Free Throws - F
Protection of the ball - B
Rebounding - B+
Engaging the students - C-
Engaging the fans - C-

The problem now that we have 3 years of viewing the product is lack of improvement in so many key areas. I still want him to succeed, but he and Hart need to take a long look in the mirror and get the problem fixed.

I think we really need to consider starting at the top and working our way down. First person that needs to go is Cheek. If Hart isn't on board with what the majority wants, can him as well. I think Martin would be fired a lot quicker if Cheek wasn't around!

Idk why everyone is complaining about Hart, when he's been solid for us so far. He got us Butch which looks like he's going to be solid. It's cheek that will get in his way.

I was on the edge until last night. The guy shows 0 emotion. It's like he doesnt even care at all. Last night was pathetic. I want him to succeed here but I just don't see it. We have way too much talent on this team to be playing this poorly.
