My friend and I was fighting over who was the best Volunteer Football player ever. I Said, I think Bobby Dodd just for his impact on all sides of the ball. He says Condredge Holloway. So I am trying to end this little disagreement by seeing what you all think....:hi:

I'd go with Majors or George Cafego. Both were superb athletes in their time. Peyton certainly bears discussion as well as possibly the greatest QB of his generation.

I also think that Jason Witten could be mentioned here also, except that they did not use him to his fullest potential.

Manning, he was great on and off the field and served as a catalyst for the program in the 90's and even after he was gone in the early 2000's. In fact, he is still involved in UT and their aims with regards to facillities and marketing. Tough to narrow it to one though, kinda like the overachiever thread.
