What's the difference in SEC Head coaches and coaches from other conferences

SEC coaches are under WAY more pressure to win immediately. Football in the South is like a religion and with that comes a bunch of crazies. SEC coaches have on average less time to produce wins before fans start calling for them or their coordinators to be fired. They are also not afforded many losing seasons, if any, even after winning SEC/National Championships or having winning records for XX number of years.

Malzahn and Freeze walked into much better situations, and if Butch was playing the same schedule Vandy played in Franklin's first year, we might be sitting at 8-4.

A lot on here don't care how nasty the schedule truly turned out to be....or the problem of replacing Rivera, CP, JH, and Bray to the NFL with no game experienced freshman mostly in the passing game.....we should only have 1-2 losses FADE....c' mon man.

Bret Bielema's problem is that his team sucks.

Watch and see how closely his teams will resemble Alabama in a few years. Not saying they will be as successful, but they will a pro style offense and tough D similar to Bama. He will get tough, strong, grinders in their in a couple years and be a tough out for anyone they play.

We can easily compare Arkansas though... Chaney's Offense has to have a QB that can chuck it, make throws, and have better WR play.

Have you seen the stats for their starting QB during SEC play? Terrible.
